20 Things to do in Lisbon, Portugal Travel Video Transcript:
We feel like we know this city well, so in this Lisbon travel guide we’re going to show you around what we think are some of the best attractions. We only had 3 days in the city this time around, so this Lisbon itinerary will be perfect for any of you visiting on a long weekend escape.
We kicked off our first morning with a ride on Lisbon’s most iconic tram line:#28 bound for panoramic vistas and a hilltop castle. After postcard perfect views looking down over Alfama we went towards the castle, with a little detour offering a bit of street art.
St George Castle is a Moorish castle that looks down over the historic centre and the Tagus River. It’s one of the main tourist landmarks in the city and you get great views of Lisbon.
We circled back to visit the Jeronimos Monastery. Construction of this monastery was ordered by King Manuel, who selected the religious order of Hieronymite monks to occupy the monastery.
Pastéis de nata were created by the monks at the Jerónimos Monastery, and seeing as we were right next door, this was a very logical stop. After browsing at the Sunday Market we walked over to the Santa Justa Elevator, which is the only street lift in Lisbon for public service.
We hope you enjoyed our Lisbon travel guide and found it useful for planning your own trip. If you have any other suggestions of things to do in Lisbon please share those in the comments below.

Pozzuoli and Monte Nuovo by Drone - Italy 1
Pozzuoli is a city and comune of the Metropolitan City of Naples, in the Italian region of Campania. It is the main city of the Phlegrean Peninsula.
Monte Nuovo (New Mountain) is a cinder cone volcano within the Campi Flegrei caldera, near Naples, southern Italy. A series of damaging earthquakes and changes in land elevation preceded its only eruption, during the most recent part of the Holocene, which lasted from September 29 to October 6, 1538, when it was formed. The event is important in the history of science because it was the first eruption in modern times to be described by a large number of witnesses.

15 Things to do in Athens, Greece Travel Guide Video Transcript: (Αθηνα Ελλάδα):
In today’s video, we’re taking you to Athens!
Home to gods, goddesses and enough temples to house them all, the Greek capital is the place to get a glimpse of Ancient Greece.
This was our second time visiting the city, but with only 3 days, we decided to focus on the highlights. For us, that meant ancient ruins, lots of greek food, and a lookout point or two to catch the city looking her best right around sunset.
Let’s begin with the main attraction and a place that has dominated the city skyline for millennia: the Acropolis.
Contrary to popular belief, the Acropolis is not one single building, but rather, an ancient citadel which holds a few different structures.
The archaeological site is lined with ancient theatres, altars and temples, and once you reach the top, there are two places that will catch your eye.
The first is the Parthenon, an ancient temple dedicated to the goddess Athena.
The other, is the Erechtheum, another temple that was dedicated to both Athena and Poseidon. It’s hard to miss its Porch of the Maidens, with its six draped female figures acting as support columns.
it was just a short walk over to the Temple of Olympian Zeus.
Construction of this temple began in the 6th century BC and it wouldn’t be completed until the reign of Hadrian in the 2nd century AD.
It took about 638 years to build this temple, but it would have been the largest temple in Greece and one of the most impressive constructions of the ancient world.
While in Athens, we also climbed Mount Lycabettus.
This is a rather steep hill that rises 300 meters above sea level, and it’s a nice place to catch sunset over Athens.
As a travel tip: there is a funicular to take you up and down the hill if you want to save your legs!
In this video, we’re going to share with you 15 things to do in Athens, Greece, so let’s get started!
That’s a wrap for our guide to Athens!
We hope this video gave you a few ideas of what you can cover on a short visit.
If you have any other suggestions of things to do in Athens that you’d like to share with travellers, feel free to leave your travel tips in the comments below.
We’ll see you in the next video as we continue our travels through Greece.

Exploring Lake Garda - The largest Lake in Italy!
Exploring Lake Garda - The largest Lake in Italy!
Lake Garda (Italian: Lago di Garda or Lago Bènaco, Latin: Benacus; Lombard: Lach de Garda; Venetian: Łago de Garda) is the largest lake in Italy. It is a popular holiday location located in northern Italy, about halfway between Brescia and Verona, and between Venice and Milan on the edge of the Dolomites. Glaciers formed this alpine region at the end of the last Ice Age. The lake and its shoreline are divided between the provinces of Verona (to the south-east), Brescia (south-west), and Trentino (north). The name Garda, which the lake has been seen referred to in documents dating to the eighth century, comes from the town of the same name.
The northern part of the lake is narrower, surrounded by mountains, the majority of which belong to the Gruppo del Baldo. The shape is typical of a moraine valley, probably having been formed under the action of a Paleolithic glacier. Although traces of the glacier's actions are evident today, in more recent years it has been hypothesised that the glacier occupied a previously existing depression, created by stream erosion 5 to 6 million years ago.
The lake has numerous small islands and five main ones, the largest being Isola del Garda where in 1220 St. Francis of Assisi founded a monastery, in its place now stands a nineteenth-century building in the Venetian Gothic style. Nearby to the south is Isola San Biagio, also known as the Isola dei Conigli (Island of the Rabbits). Both are offshore of San Felice del Benaco, on the lake's western side. The three other main islands are Isola dell'Olivo, Isola di Sogno, and Isola di Trimelone, all farther north near the eastern side.
BUONCONVENTO Borgo bello della TOSCANA - Beautiful village of TUSCANY - Full HD
© CLAUDIO MORTINI ❀
Volterra
