Arkösund is a small village on the Swedish East Coast, on Vikbolandet peninsula, Norrköping Municipality. Its population swells in the summer, when the yacht people arrive to anchor up in the marina to shop for food. It is most famous for its archipelago — many small islands easily reached by boat from the harbour. During the summer season of 2007 an estimated 40,000 tourists visited Arkösund.

Kolmården Wildlife Park is a zoo that opened in 1965 overlooking Bråviken bay in Sweden. It is the largest zoo in Scandinavia, includes the first dolphinarium in Scandinavia, which opened in 1969 and has daily shows, and the worlds first cable car safari. The wildlife park also has a birds of prey display and a seal show. In the Marine World area is a roller coaster called The Dolphin Express. Another, larger, roller coaster in the park is Wildfire.

Wandern im Norra Kvill Nationalpark in Schweden

Wandern in Schweden in einem unberührten Wald auf einem einfachen kurzen Rundweg in einem mystischen Urwald mit zauberhaften Seen. Begleite mich auf dieser Tour im Norra Kvill.

Der Norra Kvill ist der kleinste Nationalpark in Schweden und er liegt in Astrid Lindgrens in Småland. Er besteht aus echtem Urwald und wird seit 150 Jahren sich selbst überlassen. Riesige moosbewachsene Steine wechseln sich ab mit bis zu 350 Jahre alten Bäumen. Mein Video ist ein Versuch die märchenhafte Atmosphäre zu vermitteln.

Göta kanal och S:t Annas Skärgård – Gone Camping i Östergötland

Vi checkar in och ställer husbilen på Caravan Club Sandvik vid sön Roxen. Vi hoppar sedan ombord på M/S Ceres i Berg för att kryssa österut på Göta Kanal. I Borgensberg hyr vi cykel och tar oss tillbaka, via ett stopp på Cloettas Outlet-butik i Ljungsbro. Vi kör sedan till Tyrislöt Camping i S:t Annas skärgård. Vi spenderar dagen i kajak hyrd hos Gunvor på S:t Anna Skärgårds Kajakuthyrning.

First Sail of The Season

We set sail on a chilly and grey Walpurgis weekend. Temperatures barely reached ten degrees Celsius but we pressed on. Low to moderate winds meant little sailing but still it was an enjoyable weekend, early in the season. Have a look if you can spot the seal!

Filmed in Nävekvarn, Bråviken, Arkösund and Arkö between 30:th of April and 1:st of May, 2018.
