What are the best things to do in Ethiopia? This travel guide slash vlog will show you everything I did during my two weeks there! From Addis Ababa to Awassa, I'll take you to two beautiful regions of the country and share some of my best travel tips.
I visited Ethiopia for work, so didn't get to do many typical touristy things like the churches in Lalibela, Danakil Depression or hiking the Simien Mountains. But my experiences were perhaps a little more local and authentic than your average guided tour, so I hope you'll take this video for what it is.

Addis Ababa to Hawassa, Ethiopia
Addis Ababa to HAWASSA/Sidamo. After 8 hours driving we finally got to coffee processing center in Sidamo, Aletta Wando. But people there were not friendly or welcoming. I was denied taking videos or photos or to talk to someone about coffee there. So I left but felt bad that after driving so many hours I just wasted my time. I never had this issues in any other coffee producing countries I visited before.

Lake Awasa, Ethiopia 2009 and 2010
One of the tourist attractions in Southern Ethiopia, situated by a lake within a walking distance from the City of Awassa (Hawassa); not in its best condition.
I was very saddened and disgusted by how the water is so contaminated by all the waste that goes into it, which is unsuitable for any living being.
But enjoyed watching the interaction between humans and the wild despite the circumstances and I hope you enjoy it too.
