কিভাবে যাবেন-
ঢাকার সায়দাবাদ থেকে প্রতিদিন সকাল ৬টা থেকে ১০টা পর্যন্ত এবং সন্ধ্যা ৭ টা থেকে রাত ১০ টা পর্যন্ত অনেকগুলো গাড়ি বাগেরহাটের উদ্দেশ্যে ছেড়ে যায় – মেঘনা (০১৭১৭১৭৩৮৮৫৫৩), বনফূল, পর্যটক (০১৭১১১৩১০৭৮), ফাল্গুনী, আরা, বলেশ্বর, হামিম ও দোলা।
এছাড়া গাবতলী থেকে হানিফ এন্টারপ্রাইজ, সোহাগ (০১৭১৮৬৭৯৩০২), শাকুরা (০১৭১১০১০৪৫০) ও ঈগল পরিবহন ছেড়ে যায়। ভাড়া ৪০০ থেকে ৫০০ টাকা। যাতায়াতে সময় লাগে প্রায় ৭ ঘন্টা।
আন্তঃনগর ট্রেন সুন্দরবন এক্সপ্রেসে খুলনা গিয়ে এরপর বাস ধরে বাগেরহাটে যেতে পারেন। রূপসা থেকে বাগেরহাটে যেতে প্রায় ৪০ মিনিট লাগে।
কোথায় থাকবেনঃ
বাগেরহাট সদরে বিভিন্ন হোটেল আছে । এছাড়াও সরকারি গেস্টহাউস আছে। এখানে রেল রোডে অবস্থিত মমতাজ হোটেলে থাকতে পারেন। এই হোটেলটিতে সুযোগ সুবিধা কম থাকলেও সেবার মান মোটামুটি ভাল এবং খরচও একটু বেশি। এছাড়া এই হোটেলের আশেপাশে থাকার জন্য আরো কিছু হোটেল রয়েছে। তাছাড়া খান জাহান আলীর মাজারের সামনে মেইন হাইওয়েতে থাকতে পারবেন “হোটেল অভি”-তে । ভাড়া ৪০০ টাকা। ফোন: ০১৮৩৩৭৪২৬২৩।
এছাড়া বাগেরহাটে থাকার জন্যে হোটেলের মধ্যে কেন্দ্রীয় বাস স্টেশন সংলগ্ন হোটেল আল আমিন (০৪৬৮-৬৩১৬৮, ০১৭১৮৬৯২৭৩৭, এসি দ্বৈত কক্ষ ১ হাজার টাকা, নন এসি কক্ষ ১শ’ থেকে ৪শ’ টাকা) এবং কর্মকার পট্টিতে হোটেল মোহনা (০৪৬৮-৬৩০৭৫, ০১৭২২৮৫৮৩১৩, ১শ’ থেকে ৪শ’ টাকায় নন এসি কক্ষ) আছে।

ষাট গম্বুজ মসজিদ বাংলাদেশের বাগেরহাট শহর থেকে মাত্র ৭ কিলোকিটার দুরে খুলনা-বাগেরহাট মহাসড়কের উত্তর পাশে ষাটগুম্বুজ বাসস্টপেজ লাগোয়া সুন্দরঘোনা গ্রামে অবস্থিত।
মসজিদটির গায়ে কোনো শিলালিপি নেই। তাই এটি কে কোন সময় নির্মাণ নির্মাণ করা হয়েছিলো সে সম্পর্কে সঠিক কোনো তথ্য পাওয়া যায়নি। তবে মসজিদটির স্থাপত্যশৈলী বিবেচনা করে এটি যে খান জাহান নির্মাণ করেছিলেন সে সম্পর্কে কারো কোনো সন্দেহ নেই।
ধারণা করা হয় তিনি ১৫ শতাব্দীতে এটি নির্মাণ করেছিলেন। এই মসজিদটি বহু বছর ধরে এবং বহু অর্থ খরচ করে নির্মাণ করা হয়েছিলো। এর পাথরগুলো আনা হয়েছিলো রাজমহল থেকে। এটি বাংলাদেশের তিনটি বিশ্ব ঐতিহ্যবাহী স্থানের মধ্যে একটি।
মসজিদটি উত্তর দক্ষিণে বাইরের দিকে প্রায় ১৬০ ফুট এবং ভিতরের দিকে প্রায় ১৪৩ ফুট লম্বা আর পূর্ব পশ্চিমে বাইরের দিকে প্রায় ১০৪ ফুট এবং ভিতরের দিকে প্রায় ৮৮ ফুট চওড়া। দেওয়ালগুলো প্রায় ৮·৫ ফুট।
দেশের দক্ষিণ-পশ্চিম প্রান্তে অবস্থিত প্রাচীন এ মসজিদটিকে ১৯৮৩ খ্রিস্টাব্দে ইউনেস্কো বিশ্ব ঐতিহ্য (World Heritage Site) হিসাবে মর্যাদা দেয়। মসজিদটি বাগেরহাট শহরকে বাংলাদেশের তিনটি বিশ্ব ঐতিহ্যবাহী শহরের মধ্যে স্থান করে দিয়েছে।
মসজিদটির নাম ৬০ গম্বুজ হলেও এখানে গম্বুজ মোটেও ৬০টি নয় বরং গম্বুজ সংখ্যা ৭৭টি । ৭৭টি গম্বুজের মধ্যে ৭০ টির উপরিভাগ গোলাকার এবং পূর্ব দেওয়ালের মাঝের দরজা এবং পশ্চিম দেয়ালের মাঝের মিহরাবের মধ্যবর্তী সারিতে যে সাতটি গম্বুজ সেগুলো দেখতে অনেকটা বাংলাদেশের চৌচালা ঘরের চালের মতো। মিনারে গম্বুজের সংখ্যা ৪ টি এ হিসেবে গম্বুজের সংখ্যা দাঁড়ায় মোট ৮১ তে। তবুও এর নাম হয়েছে ষাটগম্বুজ।
ঐতিহাসিকরা মনে করেন সাতটি সারিবদ্ধ গম্বুজ সারি আছে বলে এ মসজিদের নামকরণ করা হয়েছিল সাত গম্বুজ এবং তা থেকে ষাটগম্বুজ নাম হয়েছে। আবার অনেক ঐতিহাসিক মনে করেন গম্বুজগুলো ৬০ টি প্রস্তরনির্মিত স্তম্ভের ওপর অবস্থিত বলেই এটির নাম ষাটগম্বুজ হয়েছে।
টিকেট মূল্য -
জনপ্রতি টিকেট এর দাম বিশ টাকা করে, তবে পাঁচ বছরের কম কোন বাচ্চার জন্যে টিকেট এর দরকার পড়েনা। যেকোনো বিদেশি দর্শনার্থীর জন্যে টিকেট মূল্য দুইশত টাকা করে।
খোলা-বন্ধের সময়সূচী -
গ্রীষ্মকালে সকাল ১০টা থেকে সন্ধ্যা ৬টা পর্যন্ত কেল্লা খোলা থাকে। মাঝখানে দুপুর ১টা থেকে ১.৩০ পর্যন্ত আধ ঘণ্টার জন্যে বন্ধ থাকে। আর শীতকালে সকাল ৯টা থেকে বিকেল ৫টা পর্যন্ত খোলা থাকে।
শীতকালেও দুপুর ১টা থেকে ১.৩০ পর্যন্ত বন্ধ থাকে। আর সবসময়ের জন্যেই শুক্রবারে জুম্মার নামাযের জন্যে সাড়ে বারোটা থেকে তিনটা পর্যন্ত বন্ধ থাকে। রবিবার সাধারণ ছুটি এবং সোমবার বেলা ২টা থেকে খোলা থাকে।
কিভাবে যাবেন -
