Dinosaur Fossil Park is one of the most interesting parks which has lifesize/giant models of many dinosaurs. There are many remains of dinosaurs from 65 million years ago. Kids will associate this place with the movie Jurassic park instantly. You can click really cool selfies with the dinosaurs. Some of the artifacts have been brought from Balasinor. Also you can learn about the life in prehistoric times, the geological changes of Earth and various other things. Next is the Indroda Nature Park which is spread over 400 acres and houses many exotic species of birds, animals,mammals, fish and trees. It is one of the best nature parks in India and is situated just 25 km from Ahmedabad, in Gandhinagar. It is one of those non polluted spaces which is rare to be found in a city. Mumbai has something similar in Sanjay Gandhi National Park however I feel it is not properly maintained compared to Indroda. You can visit here with family and friends, Couples too frequent this places as it offers privacy as it is secluded. Third on the list is Science City. This place is dedicated to innovation, futuristic advances in Science and Space technology. This place boasts of attractions like Amphitheatre, IMAX 3D theatre, Planet Earth Pavillion, Hall of Space, Energy Education Park, Electrodome, Life Science Park, Hall of Science, Musical Fountain, Thrill Ride/Simulator and lots more. The country's first Dinosaur Fossil Park at Raiyoli near Balasinor is now open to the public!
Raiyoli was chosen as the site for the museum because it is the third largest dinosaur fossil site in the world and also the second largest dinosaur hatchery in the world, where thousands of eggs were found.
This museum houses the remains of various dinosaurs found in the country along with it offers a fresh view of the fossil record and the evolution of their life. Other attractions at the museum are 3D films, 360 degrees virtual reality presentations, interactive kiosks, gaming consoles and other facilities.
In this museum with sections like Time Machine, Earth’s Inception, Dinosaurs-World and Dinosaurs-Gujarat, the museum will offer an insight into prehistoric times. Located just a couple of hours away from Ahmedabad, it is a great place for a day trip, especially for children.

1. Adalaj Stepwell : Adalaj Stepwell or Rudabai Stepwell is a stepwell located in the village of Adalaj, close to Ahmedabad city and in Gandhinagar district in the Indian state of Gujarat. It was built in 1498 by Rana Veer Singh of the Vaghela dynasty of Dandai Desh. It is a fine example of Indian architecture work.
2. Akshardham Temple : Swaminarayan Akshardham in Gandhinagar, Gujarat is a large Hindu temple complex inspired by Yogiji Swami, the fourth spiritual successor of Lord Swaminarayan according to the denomination of Swaminarayan Hinduism, and created by Pramukh Swami, the fifth spiritual successor of Lord Swaminarayan according to the denomination of Swaminarayan Hinduism. Located in the capital of Gujarat, the complex was built over 13 years and is a tribute to Lord Swaminarayan and his life and teachings.
3. Dandi Kutir - The Gandhi Museum : Dandi Kutir is India’s Largest & Only Museum built on the life and teachings of One Man, Mahatma Gandhi. It represents Gandhi’s powerful idea of people across lines of class, gender, age and community asserting their common right to salt itself: a symbol to inspire a pluralistic society to march towards independence, Purna Swaraj. A glimpse of Gandhi’s early life is beautifully portrayed with the help of audio- visuals. From his birth on 2nd October 1869 in Kathiawad, to his childhood when he was a shy , remarkable and unique student. It also traces his marriage to Kasturba and his experiments with youth.
4. Gujarat Science City : Gujarat Science City, located in Hebatpur, Ahmedabad, is part of a government initiative to draw more students towards education in science. The center hosts an IMAX 3D theatre, an energy park, a hall of science, Planet Earth, an amphitheatre,Life Science Park and dancing musical fountains among others.

Indroda Dinosaur and Fossil Park : The Indroda Dinosaur and Fossil Park in Ahmedabad in the state of Gujarat, India,is a park which houses the fossilized remains and the petrified eggs of the dinosaurs. It is technically a man made fossil park and not the actual nesting grounds where the dinosaurs lived. The eggs and fossils on display here are actually from the world's 3rd largest dinosaur fossil excavation site and 2nd largest hatchery located at Raiyoli, Balasinor, Gujarat.
6. Punit Van : Punit Van is a botanical garden located in Sector 19 in Gandhinagar, the capital of Gujarat in India. It was developed in 2005 by the forest department of the Government of Gujarat. The forest department has developed several acres of land where the planted trees have been associated with stars, planets and zodiac signs. Punitmeans holy and Van means forest in Gujarati.

With approx 2 hours drive from Ahmedabad one can find this newly created Museum dedicated to Dinosaurs. It's a must visit place for all zoology lovers and especially for those highly interested in topics covering from Existence to Extinction of Dinosaurs. This museum was opened for public on 9th June 2019 and we took the opportunity to visit it on first day itself
The Dinosaur fossils are preserved and demarked in different cages. There are approx 12 cages and each indicates a different fossils discovered in the area
It is the third largest dinosaur fossil site in the world and also the second largest dinosaur hatchery in the world, where thousands of eggs were found.
Since the park is open space few shelter huts are laid out in the premises.

Ahmedabad is located on the banks of the Sabarmati River, 30 km (19 mi) from the state capital Gandhinagar, which is its twin city.
1. Sardar Patel Museum, Ahmedabad: The Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Memorial is a museum and exhibition centre dedicated to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel at Moti Shahi Mahal, located in Shahibaug, Ahmedabad, Gujarat, near Civil Hospital, Ahmedabad
2. Jama masjid, Ahmedabad: Jama Masjid (literally Friday Mosque), also known as Jami or Jumma Mosque, is the most splendid mosque of Ahmedabad, built in 1424 during the reign of Ahmed Shah I. Lying in the old walled city, the mosque is situated outside Bhadra Fort area, along the south side of the road extending from Teen Darwaza to Manek Chowk.
3. Science Center, Ahmedabad: Vikram A. Sarabhai Community Science Centre (VASCSC) or simply known as CSC, was established in the 1960s by the eminent space scientist, Vikram Sarabhai in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. The centre works towards popularising science and mathematics education among students, teachers and the public. Its mandate is to stimulate interest, encourage and expose the principles of science and scientific method and also to improve and find innovative methods of science education. It is located opposite Gujarat University. VASCSC is open to all members of the community.
4. Sardar Patel Stadium, Ahmedabad: Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Stadium is an Indian sports stadium located in the Navrangpura locality of Ahmedabad, Gujarat. It is sometimes referred as Sports Club of Gujarat Stadium. The stadium holds the honor of hosting the first ever One Day International match played in India
5. Kankaria Lake, Ahmedabad: Kankaria Lake, formerly known as Hauz e Qutub, is the second largest lake in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. It is located in the south-eastern part of the city, in the Maninagar area. A lakefront is developed around it, which has many public attractions such as a zoo, toy train, kids city, tethered balloon ride, water rides, water park, food stalls, and entertainment facilities. The lakefront was revamped in 2008. Kankaria Carnival is a week-long festival held here in the last week of December. Many cultural, art, and social activities are organised during the carnival.

The Park was set up by the Geological Survey of India[ and is the only dinosaur museum in the country

As attested by the marble tablet fixed on the wall of the mosque, it was built by in the retinue of sultan Ahemad ShahBilal Jhajar Khan, general in the army of the last Sultan Shams-ud-Din Muzaffar Shah III of the Gujarat Sultanate.
