Balatonboglar, the international town of grapes and wine is the center of the southern Balaton wine region. The castle hill planted with pines is a nature reserved but the characteristics site of this spherical look out tower on top named after János Xantus.
There are two chapels standing on top of the nearby graveyard hill, the evangelical one is painted blue but the catholic one is painted red. The Chapels of the scene of exhibitions of fine arts literary and musical programs, while good views looking north can be head from the spherical look out tower a magnificent view opens on the slopes of Somogy Hill from the chapels.
The constantly developing town has improved its profile even further but the addition of new shopping streets and parks. Its harbor used to be a ferry port. Now sailboats and pleasure boats depart from here. The sycamore beach is a scene of sporting and cultural events throughout the whole season.
A swimming competition requests the lake is organized in July, a harvest festival around the 20th of August and the holiday season wines down with a farewell festival in the middle of September.

Balatonlelle is a popular tourist town located in Hungary on the southern shore of Lake Balaton, about 35 km west of Siófok. Attractions include a beach over 3 km long, an aqua-park, go-cart course, and annual wine festival. It is easily reached from Budapest by direct train (approx 2.5 hours). It is a family orientated tourist resort in the summer season. There is a paid (sandy) beach and a long public (free) grass beach. It does have a small number of bars but it can be categorised as a quiet resort, ideal for relaxation. The wine festival is often held in the first week of August. (Source: Wikipedia)

One of the most significant sights in Hungary; Festetics Castle is boasted as one of Hungary's largest country estates.
This gorgeous Baroque-style castle is nothing short of spacious, housing 101 rooms, including a massive library wing, and concert hall.
Having employed local artisans to construct and model the castle, Festetics is adorned with masterful stonework and inlaid wood flooring.
The interior is just as impressive with many pieces of fine carpentry made by local artist Janos Kerbl.
Even though many of Keszthely's buildings were damaged during World War II, Festetics Castle survived unscathed.
Also known for its park reserve, the English-style gardens behind the palace showcase the work of landscaper E. H. Miller.
Known for its palace tours, museum exhibit, and summer garden concerts, Festetics Castle is a sight of great attraction.
