Hi, we’re Chris and Mandy, travel bloggers and creators from Australia. Since December 2015, we have been travelling and exploring the world full-time. We usually spend 1-2 months in each place we travel to and love really getting to know a place. One of our favourite ways to get to know a destination is through food, and we share all of our food guides here on Youtube and on our travel blogs. We love to pack light, travelling the past 3 years with carry-on only. On AlmostLanding.com, we share in-depth guides to help you plan the best trip, we often have free printable guides you can download or print out, we’ve created our own travel maps pinpointing our favourite picks for different places so you can easily find everything and make travel planning easy. We have another travel blog all on Bali, AlmostLanding-Bali.com, we’ve spent so much time in Bali and share everything we know and love about this beautiful island. BEST BEACHES IN SYDNEY AUSTRALIA | NORTHERN BEACHES
We have lived in Sydney for 6 years, in this time we have done a lot of exploring and been to the best beaches around. We love Australia, especially the Northern Beaches because here you will find some secluded gems, pristine nature and a lot of lush coast line.
We think these are the best beaches in Sydney Australia because they are not crowded as some of the more popular beaches, like Manly and Bondi. Here are our best beaches.
Bayview
Tucked away more towards the northern end of the coastline, this reserve offers great walks along several bays, it is a great spot to learn to paddle board and take the kayak out due to its calm waters. We love to take our pooch here for a good swim and a play with other puppies.
Long Reef
Long Reef is accessible from Dee Why beach, there is a great walk you can do from Dee Why along the Dee Why lagoon. Long Reef is a top spot for a surf, no matter your experience level. The headland walks host many great lookouts and an abundance of nature. Watching the sun set from here is a MUST. Long Reef for this reason alone is one of our best beaches in Sydney.
Curl Curl
Curly is a popular beach for surfers as it hosts some of Sydney's best waves. You can enjoy a coastal walk at either end of the beach and take in some breath taking views. There is a swimming pool to do some lengths and at the northern end a lagoon where the dogs and kids can play safely.
Turimetta
Known as Sydney's secret beach, hosting no more than a dozen people on a average day. Take a walk up the southern headland to reach a lookout where you can enjoy stunning ocean views and tree covered cliffs. This is our favourite spot to come and enjoy the sunrise, you will leave feeling recharged and will go down in the memory bank as one not to forget. p.s don't forget to explore the rock pools!!!!
Thanks for watching guys, LET US KNOW WHICH BEACHES YOU LOVE :)
