In the late 19th century, Jews fleeing pogroms in Russia came to settle in one of the furthest places in the world from their homes: Argentina. And they adapted to the local land, creating a Jewish agricultural settlement, building synagogues, and Jewish schools. Photojournalist Silvina Frydlewsky traveled to the province of Entre Ríos for The Washington Post to photograph the remaining community members, and their desire to keep their traditions going on. These are the last Jewish gauchos.

Desierto Verde es un largometraje documental sobre la producción de alimentos que descubre los mecanismos actuales de la industria agropecuaria, planteando la necesidad de visibilizar problemas asociados a este negocio, como la deforestación, la desertificación de los suelos y la contaminación con herbicidas, insecticidas o fungicidas, los llamados popularmente “agrotóxicos”.
En Ituzaingó Anexo, un barrio en los márgenes de la ciudad de Córdoba, Argentina, lindero a campos de soja, cientos de personas mueren de cáncer al ser envenenados por pesticidas. Alertadas por la salud de sus familias y la comunidad, un grupo de mujeres comenzará a reunirse para realizar acciones conjuntas. Al tomar trascendencia el “mapa de la muerte” que ellas elaboran, por primera vez, comienza un juicio sin precedentes.

Trains in China Part 2 of 4
Here is part 2 of the trains I filmed in China. This part includes the trains in Xi'an. Note that most clips are zoomed in shots due to the fact how there are obstructions over the bridge. Later on, my opponents spot a spot where I can have clear shots of trains. So we went there and it was great although the ground isn't even. I also caught a rare Diesel in the area. I was just in time to catch that when I was making my way to the second location. Anyways, enjoy!

March 02-10: We can see since the last visited that most of Phase 1 current wall is almost in place. Phase II will see a different kind of current wall for most of the rest of the building. One of the better looking current walls that has gone up in the last 2 years.
