Begelly is a village and parish in south Pembrokeshire, Wales, 7 km north of Tenby. The parish includes the hamlet of Thomas Chapel 51°44′36″N 4°44′42″W and has a web of small settlements associated with the 19th century anthracite mining industry. The parish, together with the parish of Reynalton and part of St. Issells, constitutes the community and ward of Kilgetty/Begelly, which had a population of 2,011 in 2001, with 11% Welsh speakers, and 2,262 at the 2011 Census..

Barafundle Bay is a remote, slightly curved, east-facing sandy beach in Pembrokeshire, Wales, near Stackpole Quay and is part of the Stackpole Estate, managed by The National Trust. The beach, which was their private beach, was owned by the Cawdor family of Stackpole Court. On the northern approach to the beach are steps and a wall which were built by the owners to ease access to the beach.

BARAFUNDLE BAY, TENBY IN PEMBROKESHIRE, WALES

Great morning exploring the beautiful coastline of Wales. The morning starts at St. Brides Spa Hotel in their infinity pool overlooking the Pembrokeshire Coast Trail. Then the Welsh road trip continues, we visit the seaside town of Tenby before heading to the legendary Welsh Barafundle Bay to enjoy the well known Barafundle Beach. We also went on a hike and visit Broad Haven South Beach which is nearby. Following that we visit Cafe Mor at Freshwater West Beach for their famous lobster roll which was great of course. It inspired me to do things like that occasionally on the island and am sure my partner in cooking crime neighbour Dave will love it too. Pembrokeshire, Wales is beautiful and one of those spots not to be missed in my opinion if visiting Wales or just the UK in general! Another great day discovering on a South Wales Road trip in the United Kingdom. We also stop by the Green bridge of Wales in the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park near Stackpole Quay.

One of the UK’s most revered harmonica players, vocalist and harp player Liam Ward is a winner of the National Harmonica League Player of the Year and has been described by Harmonica World as endlessly inventive.

The rest of the band comprises stalwarts of the British blues scene. On guitar, respected jazzman Matt Jones (The Square Pegs, Django Chutney), Pembrokeshire favourite Martin Hill on bass (Empty Pockets, Final Demand), and sought-after drum ace Gareth Davies (Only Us, The Distributors).
