1. Santorini
Santorini is one of the Cyclades islands in the Aegean Sea. It was devastated by a volcanic eruption in the 16th century BC, forever shaping its rugged landscape. The whitewashed, cubiform houses of its 2 principal towns, Fira and Oia, cling to cliffs above an underwater caldera (crater). They overlook the sea, small islands to the west and beaches made up of black, red and white lava pebbles.
2. Bora Bora
Bora Bora is a small South Pacific island northwest of Tahiti in French Polynesia. Surrounded by sand-fringed motus (islets) and a turquoise lagoon protected by a coral reef, it’s known for its scuba diving. It's also a popular luxury resort destination where some guest bungalows are perched over the water on stilts. At the island's center rises Mt. Otemanu, a 727m dormant volcano.
3. Maui
Maui is an island in the Central Pacific, part of the Hawaiian archipelago. Sprawling Haleakala National Park encompasses the island’s highest peak, volcanic Haleakala, as well as the pools and waterfalls of Ohe’o Gulch, accessed via scenic, winding Hana Highway. The island's 30 miles of beaches include golden-crescent Kapalua, sheltered from strong currents by lava-rock promontories.
4. Bali
Bali is an Indonesian island known for its forested volcanic mountains, iconic rice paddies, beaches and coral reefs. The island is home to religious sites such as cliffside Uluwatu Temple. To the south, the beachside city of Kuta has lively bars, while Seminyak, Sanur and Nusa Dua are popular resort towns. The island is also known for its yoga and meditation retreats.

Providenciales, known locally as Provo, is an island in the Turks and Caicos archipelago, in the Atlantic Ocean. It’s ringed by soft, sandy beaches, many of them on the north coast. Its diverse terrain spans colored-sand beaches at Papakolea (green) and Punalu’u (black) to lush rainforest. Within Volcanoes National Park, there are 2 active volcanoes, Kilauea and Mauna Loa. Hapuna Beach and Kahalu'u Beach Park in the west are popular snorkeling sites.
8. Kauai
Kauai is an island in the Central Pacific, part of the Hawaiian archipelago. It's nicknamed the Garden Isle thanks to the tropical rainforest covering much of its surface. One week in Barbados
Travel video vlog about our trip to Barbados in April 2019.
Barbados is an island country located in the Lesser Antilles of the West Indies, in the Caribbean region of North America. The island is most known for its amazing beaches, tropical greenery and warm golden sunlight, and its economy is largely driven by tourism.
We stayed in Barbados for one week, from 13 to 20 April 2018. In order to get different experiences on the island, we decided to split our time in Barbados in between two hotels: we stayed for the first 3 nights at the Butterfly Beach Hotel (3 star hotel), and the last 4 nights at the Tamarind Hotel (4 stars).
What we loved the most about Barbados is the fact that the city and the beaches were not overcrowded like other beach destinations on the Caribbean. If you are looking for a place with beautiful beaches, great food and friendly people but not yet packed with tourists, you should definitely consider Barbados for your next holiday. We visited some beaches near our hotel that had hardly any tourists on it (if any).
Another thing to keep in mind is that the best beaches for swimming are located on the west side of the island, which is where we stayed. The East side of the island is very scenic and great for sightseeing , but the sea is very rough so it is not good for swimming.
We rented a car to drive around the whole island, which is something that I highly recommend anyone to do. We found driving on the island to be very easy and safe, and this allowed us to explore different parts of the island, which we would not be able to do without a car.
Public transport is also very easy and we recommend we rook the public van (01:08) multiple times to visit the fish market at night and have dinner in a local restaurant.
Here are the places we visited while in Barbados:
1. Butterfly Beach (0:22)
2. Bridgetown (1:12)
3. Carlisle beach (1:23)
4. Nikki Beach Barbados (1:29)
5. Cove Bay Barbados (2:00)
6. Hunte’s Garden (2:09)
7. Crystal Cove Hotel (2:50)
8. Tamarind Hotel beach (03:09 & 3:27)
9. Waters Hotel (3:15)

Epic Cliff Jumping in Barbados
We explored the beaches of Barbados while in port on our Royal Caribbean cruise and found a surreal spot for some cliff jumping in Crane Beach! We surf at Cattlewash Beach, and then visit Martinique and go to a rum tasting as well as try some traditional dancing. And of course spend a whole lot of time in a wind tunnel on the ship!
We got invited to go on a South Caribbean cruise with Royal Caribbean on the Anthem of the Seas. We stopped in Puerto Rico, Barbados, Martinique, St Kitts, and St Maarten. In each one of these stops we got to experience the islands culture, scenery and activities. Our adventures were streamed live via Periscope to billboards in New York City as part of the #ComeSeekLive campaign.

Beaches Barbados Batts Rock Beach
Here is the first of our Beaches Barbados Vlogs. Batts Rock Beach Batts Rock is located on the west coast of Barbados just a few minutes from the capital city of Bridgetown
Batts Rock is a designated Public Beach area and has picnic benches, shower and changing facilities, drinks machine, and a small children's playground with slides, swings, and see-saws.
The sea here is calm and excellent for swimming while the crystal-clear waters and small rocky areas also make it an interesting snorkeling location.
