We headed straight to the Flinders Ranges after our stay at The Grampians. It took us a good 3 days of driving to get to the start of the Flinders and that included a massive shop in Adelaide! We filled up with groceries

As we drove from Stokes Hill Lookout to Blinman, we saw some incredible landscapes and even ran into a bikie gang riding towards us, which made for an awesome shot!

Mungerannie - Birdsville Track - South Australia

The Mungerannie Hotel and wetland is an oasis on the parched Birdsville track.
Mungerannie wetland is of high environmental importance as a watering point for the many bird species that inhabit the area.

Sacred Canyon!

Seventh and final video in the Outback Australia series made by Noel Leeder twenty years ago, Sacred Canyon was made at a wonderful old sacred aboriginal site located within the remote Flinders Ranges region of South Australia's far north. A place of pure magic, the ancient aboriginal rock carvings tell a fascinating story of the original inhabitants of that remarkable region many centuries earlier. Great viewing!

Alligator Gorge, Mount Remarkable National Park, South Australia

A key conservation area in the Southern Flinders Ranges, Mount Remarkable National Park features a unique mix of flora and fauna of the dry north and the wetter south. The impressive sandstone rock formations of Alligator Gorge are home to goannas, emu's and many other animals that live in this ancient landscape.
