Bois-Guillaume is a commune in the Seine-Maritime department in the Normandy region in northern France. On 2012, January 1st, it was said to become part of the new commune of Bois-Guillaume-Bihorel but the merger of the two communes has been cancelled in January 2014.

Juno or Juno Beach was one of five beaches of the Allied invasion of German-occupied France in the Normandy landings on 6 June 1944 during the Second World War. The beach spanned from Courseulles, a village just east of the British beach Gold, to Saint-Aubin-sur-Mer, just west of the British beach Sword. Taking Juno was the responsibility of the Canadian Army, with sea transport, mine sweeping, and a naval bombardment force provided by the Royal Canadian Navy and the British Royal Navy as well as elements from the Free French, Norwegian, and other Allied navies. Timber est une montagne russe en bois du constructeur américain The Gravity Group. Une nouvelle zone thématique, Explorer Adventure, a été créée à l'occasion. L'attraction est accessible aux enfants à partir de 1,10 mètres !

Well of Moses, Dijon ~ France

The Well of Moses is a monumental sculpture recognised as the masterpiece of the Dutch artist Claus Sluter. It was executed by Sluter and his workshop in 1395–1403 for the Carthusian monastery of Chartreuse de Champmol built as a burial site by the Burgundian Duke Philip the Bold just outside the Burgundian capital of Dijon, now in France.
Situated in the central courtyard of what was then the main cloister, the building enclosing the well was added in the 17th century, when the upper parts of the work were already suffering from weather damage. The work was further damaged in 1791, during the French Revolution. Only fragments of the Crucifixion survive, including the head and torso of Christ; they are now housed in the Musée Archéologique in Dijon. The hexagonal base with its sculptures (the six prophets) remains in what is now the Hospital de la Chartreuse, and can be seen by tourists.
