Out on a search looking for a new camping spot and a place to empty my garbage. Often times more difficult than you would expect. Many of the dumpsters are locked up and signed. Look around the Brian Head ski area base to Brian Head at 11,000 plus ft.

Hiking to Spectra Point in Cedar Breaks National Monument, Utah
Cedar Breaks National Monument is located just 25 miles east of Cedar City. It is a beautiful landscape that resemble that of Bryce Canyon National Park, just much smaller. There are a few short overlook hikes starting at the main entrance parking area. We chose to hike to Spectra Point; a lovely, easy 2 mile round trip hike with a 350 ft elevation change.

This beautiful newly remodeled cabin in a serene mountain setting is truly one of a kind! This 3 level vacation home is perfect for large families or groups. Huge kitchen w/ corian counter tops and all the top of the line amenities you need to prepare the perfect meal.
