I'm Caught in a CIVIL WAR (Cameroon)
The country of Cameroon is on the brink of a Civil War, yet nobody seems to know about it. Long story short, the country is split between 20% native English speakers (i.e. Anglophones) and 80% native French. The Anglophones have been calling for equal rights as the French, and this tension has led to over 1,000 deaths and 150,000+ others forced to leave their homes for safer regions.
I arrived here in Douala (Cameroon'a biggest city) a few days ago and I've been learning about the current political situation, and it's a lot worse than I imagined. In a city called Buea, which is in the English-speaking region, recent fighting has been taking place. I ventured inside that area, passing numerous police checkpoints who were heavily armed, and I saw burned down cars and bullets on the ground. It was bizarre.
This video is a brief overview of what Cameroon is facing right now. Please share to spread awareness, because no violence should go unnoticed. Have you ever heard about Cameroon's civil war?

Travelling in Cameroon - West Africa 2018
In early 2018, we backpacked our way around Cameroon in West Africa. Mountain climbing, gorillas in the wild in Lobeke National Park, beaches, tea plantation, waterfalls, tropical forest and motorbikes. Had a wonderful time and here is a short video to prove it.

Typical Safe Travel in Cameroon
Gives a whole new meaning to the expression to hitch a lift. The strange thing is I think he might not have been wearing his seatbelt. :P Before I started recording our driver nearly took the poor guy's legs off. Must have been about 8 already riding inside the taxi...
