San Marco in Lamis is a town in the province of Foggia in the Apulia region of southeast Italy. It is located on the Gargano peninsula, an isolated mountain massif at the spur of the Italian boot. San Marco in Lamis is part of the Gargano National Park, a protected area founded in 1991, that is mainly covered by forest (the so-called Foresta Umbra).
Apart from some tourism connected to pilgrimages at the local Catholic sanctuary of St. Matthew, the economy is mostly based on agriculture.

Day 6 (part 1) of Italy Vacation Videos - (Honeymoon Day Trip) Accross Lake Como to Bellagio (3D)
Day 6 (prt1) of our 2011 wedding travels through Italy: Included those friends and family remaining in Varenna, Italy the day following the ceremony accompanied us on a trip across the lake to from Varenna to Bellagio and later on to Lano and back to our lodging in Varenna, where we would stay our last night on the beautiful Italian lake. (Also see part 2 of day 6, for the portion spent in Lano, Italy touring the famous Villa Balbianello; a beautiful private villa utilized in the shooting of recent bond films. )
For fear of some of the daily food budget a few of our traveling companions were monitoring, while in Bellagio I made the mistake of choosing, an offbeat lunch buffet I would never recommend anyone else trying. Bellagio is a major tourist attraction on Lake Como these days; although numerous towns along the lake's shores offer an equally exceptional experience. Bellagio is known for a vast variety of souvenirs, art, and clothing accessory shopping; as well as its share of fine restaurants. Therefor, bargains are not a suitable goal when browsing or dinning in such a popular, dense, and quaint location.

Day 6 (prt2) of our 2011 wedding travels through Italy: Included those friends and family remaining in Varenna, Italy the day following the ceremony accompanied us on a trip across the lake to from Bellagio to Lenno and then back to our lodging in Varenna, where we would stay our last night on the beautiful Italian lake.
We spent the afternoon in Lenno touring the famous Villa Balbianello; a beautiful private villa utilized in the shooting of recent bond films. Those who didn't have an interest in hearing about the history of the home, its' garden, and its' original owners, took an earlier ferry back to Varenna. Our photographer and his wife, took the afternoon, to shoot the indescribable gardens of Villa Balbianello.
