California Road Trip: 6 Days Exploring the Central Coast
The central coast of California is one of the most beautiful places in the United States. The views of the coastline, outdoor adventures, and small towns always keep me coming back for more. Amie and I spent 6 days exploring the area and this video showcases all of the things that we did in towns like Pismo Beach, Morro Bay, Los Alamos, Cayucus, Cambria and San Simeon.

10 Best Places to Live in California.
With 840 miles of coastline and 163,707 total square miles, California offers its residents a unique way of life. You can choose to live in one of the largest cities in the world, Los Angeles, or shut yourself away in a small coastal town in Marin. You can feast your eyes on the majestic Pacific Ocean, or go water skiing at Lake Tahoe. But, as is the case everywhere, certain places in the Golden State are regarded as better than others, and it’s not always easy to decide where you might live, once you decide to relocate.

Road Trip Pt 1: Hwy 1 PCH/Cabrillo Highway Best Pit Stops from San Francisco to Los Angeles
This year for our annual road trip down to Southern California we decided to take the more meandering but infinitely more beautiful and exciting route down Highway 1 (also known as the Pacific Coast Highway or Cabrillo Highway).
There's so much to do you can easily spend a couple weeks making your way down (or up!) but here are my picks for the best pit stops. Also, to help you time it correctly, I've created two lists; a long version (3+ days) and a short version (1-2 days).
Part 1 covers the drive from San Francisco through Big Sur. Part 2 covers the drive from San Simeon to Los Angeles.

Central California Coast Sprinter Van Road Trip I 5-Day Itinerary
In April I partnered with Visit California to spend 5-days exploring the outdoor adventure along the Central Coast of California in my Sprinter Van. Our itinerary included stops in Ventura, Santa Barbara, Ojai, Avila Beach, Morro Bay, and Cambria. We hiked, biked, kayaked, hit the beach, camped, drank wine, and ate a ton of good food. We also capped off our trip with two-nights at the ocean-front Cambria Beach Lodge.
