WHAT TO DO IN AIRLIE BEACH AUSTRALIA
Please watch: Brisbane - 4K drone montage
--~--
15/11/2017 : Airlie Beach is a small town situated between Brisbane and Cairns. There aren't many attractions on the mainland apart from a few hikes, but it is where you set off from in order to tour the Whitsundays. Here, Louis and I caught up with mates we made further south whilst enjoying the night life for 12 days. In-between we toured the Whitsundays, skydived, relaxed at the public lagoon by the ocean and did an Island Jet boat ride round the Whitsundays for an hour, which I had won at a club. We stayed at Nomads first, which was good, however, if you plan to cook for yourselves the kitchen is unbearable to manage. We swiftly moved to Magnums which is in our top five hostels we stayed at all up the east coast. You're surrounded by spectacular scenery, making you feel like you're living in a rainforest. The people were great and so was everything else that came with the hostel. No complaints. Our favourite place to go out has to be Mama Africa which plays a variety of music each night. Despite there not being much to occupy yourselves with, Louis and I had an unbelievable 2 weeks!!!! Would 100% recommend Airlie Beach to anyone traveling the East Coast :)
