BULLFIGHTING IN ARGENTINA | CASABINDO FESTIVAL | SOUTH AMERICA TRAVEL VLOG 3
On 15th of August every year, the quaint town of Casabindo in Jujuy, Northern Argentina celebrates the Feast of the Assumption. There are processions, singing, dancing and a lot of eating! It is a true blend of indigenous rituals and Catholic traditions. The highlight of the day is the Toreo (bull-fight), a custom from colonial times, however it is rather symbolic as no bulls get hurt.
