Redondo Beach, California - YouTube HD
Redondo Beach is one of the three Beach Cities located in Los Angeles County, California, United States. The population was 66,748 at the 2010 census, up from 63,261 at the 2000 census. The city is located in the South Bay region of the greater Los Angeles area.
Redondo Beach was originally part of the 1785Rancho San Pedro Spanish land grant that later became the South Redondo area. The city's territory has an unusual shape including an area along the beach (South Redondo Beach) and another strip inland from Manhattan Beach and Hermosa Beach (North Redondo Beach). The primary attractions include Municipal Pier and the sandy beach, popular with tourists and a variety of sports enthusiasts. The western terminus of the Metro Rail Green Line is in North Redondo Beach.

Follow me around on a weekend trip GLAMPING at MENDOCINO GROVE! Located about 2-3 hours north of San Francisco is this amazing glamping site perfect for anyone who loves the idea of camping meets comfort. Mendocino Grove offers a unique coastal forest glamping experience where you can enjoy the great outdoors without having to lug around tons of camping equipment and supplies. They're the perfect place for a couples escape or family excursion, offering nature walks, yoga, and meal service. The property also has hot water and incredible showers and bathrooms, unlike anything I've ever seen. Mendocino Grove was certainly the most luxe and most chill camping experience I've ever had.
During our visit, we also got to explore North Coast Brewing Co, Fort Bragg Glass Beach, and the Point Cabrillo Light Station. If given more time, and no flat tire disaster, we would have loved to explore more.

02:27 Glass Beach, Fort Bragg - a little overrated as a tourist attraction, this beach is covered in tiny smooth pieces of glass eroded by the sea.
02:32 Mendocino Coast Botanical Gardens - a must see if you come to the area. This place is gorgeously landscaped with plants and blooms from all over the globe, and it has some of the most stunning rugged Northern California coastline we saw on the trip. Walk the entire path and get your 10,000 steps in!
02:48 Point Cabrillo Light Station - cute little lighthouse and hotspot for animals! We saw dozens of mule deer and seals here, including a mom and pup!
03:30 - Guided Hike at Mendocino Grove - join other glampers Saturday mornings for a guided nature walk through the forest. You'll learn about the plant life and history of the region.

I traveled through the USA for three months in my gap year and I can tell you, it was my best trip ever. I met so many amazing people, other travelers and locals and I've made some really good friends. Even though I was traveling alone I never felt lonely and there was actually always someone there for me. Even strangers. I've learned so much about myself on this trip through traveling alone. I really enjoyed not having to worry about time, the future or other stressful things. I could just be and enjoy the moment. I just felt so alive.
I started my trip in Los Angeles whereafter I volunteered on a horse ranch near Temecula for a month. In the mean time we visited San Diego and Palm Springs too on day trips. After the ranch I went to San Diego again for three days. I immediately fell in love with that city. I had a hard time leaving California but I had an amazing week in Seattle too. Then I flew to New York and I spent another month on a horse ranch near Buffalo. We had an amazing day at Niagara Falls in Canada. New York City was my last destination and I stayed there for only 4 days. I wish I had more time everywhere. There are so many more things that I wanted to see! But America is huge. I'm definitely gonna go back to America in the future. No doubt. I need to go back.
