It's our Waterford Weekend bonus videos! Instead of resting up, we heading out ... Vicki back to Tipperary whilst Geoff goes to the beach, but they meet up again at an abandoned station before a final search for a disused railway bridge ...
All The Stations - Ireland sees Geoff and Vicki exploring the length and breadth of the Iarnród Éireann and Northern Ireland Railways networks, travelling to all 198 railway stations. Along the way, they'll meet the communities connected to the lines, interview local people and those who work on the railways, to find out about their experiences of travelling by train.
To The Book! The Railway Adventures is published by September Publishing and was released in October 2018. It accompanies the 2017 'All The Stations' adventure, when we travelled to all 2,563 railway stations in Great Britain. Available here:

Trainspotting at Trowbridge, WML - 8/12/18 [TSE S6E13 - Series Finale]
Hi all and welcome to another new video from TrainSpotEast where I am at Trowbridge, where we see services from Great Western Railway, 1 Service from South Western Railway and 1 freight movement.
Look out for:
- Additional services for Bath Christmas Markets, one involving an IET.
- 158884 from SWR used by GWR services
- 150126 - the only few 150/1 left on GWR
Trowbridge has been a decent station, the vantage points are excellent, the traction is good and the frequency is alright, may have a few breaks in between plus two great passes with a small feature on freight. The views are slightly obstructed and also on the curve, so not as great views generated but still the station doesn't disappoint. This is a great station for a commuting town and will return with divert action.

70013 Oliver Cromwell on the Welshman 01-05-10
A Britannia heading to Wales from Poole through our home city... too good to miss!! 7MT Britannia 70013 Oliver Cromwell heads for Cardiff over the May-Day weekend.
The timings in the morning were ridiculous. 70013 departed Poole at 6:35 amd was in Eastleigh by 7:55am. We set off late, almost too late for our first location, Southampton Airport Parkway. However, when we looked at our sat nav, it would take us through all the back roads to get there. We decided to ignore the sat nav's orders, and went to Swaythling instead, where our nav decided to crash and not work again properly for the rest of the day.
So we begin at Swaythling, where we figured that we would have around 5 minutes before 70013 came through. As we walked onto the platform, a high pitched Britannia whistle greeted us. We threw the camera legs down and hit film on the camera.
My friend who had helped out with our second camera was helping take photos all day, and so we didn't use a second camera.
After 70013 ghosted through Swaythling, she ran onto Eastleigh, which is where we stopped, and got a couple of shots from outside the station before seeing her depart.
Next comes Chandlers Ford. The engine stopped at Eastleigh East Jc for 15 minutes to allow a stopping service to Salisbury get to Eastleigh. The stopper was departing as we arrived, and we knew that 70013 had not been through.
After this, we travelled up to Didcot for the first day of GWR175 (not in this video) and so we didn't catch anymore of 70013 in the west country, and so for this reason, we move onto Swaythling again in the evening. Our late running, and poor sat nav took us here after we had hoped to go a foot crossing in Chandlers Ford. 70013 bursts through, after stopping at Eastleigh for 2 minutes.
Finally, we get to Totton. Believe it or not, we made it onto the bridge as the train was going over the Redbridge Causeway. We saw the smoke and quickly through the camera and tripod together, and hit record just as the train came into view. We broke all laws of physics to get to Totton from Swaythling, as an early running train was pounding through Southampton. We had just 14 minutes to make it to Totton, and we did..... just!!
Due to our late running here, I didn't have time to say hi to 1998ollie, who was stood right next to me at Totton.
This will be on Southern Steam 2010. Check out our website for more details.

Cycle over Hockley Viaduct in to Winchester City Centre
This is my film of the new cycle-route which can be started at the Winchester South Park and Ride carpark down on the Otterbourne Road.
Exiting the carpark the path rises to the Otterbourne Road, and goes down to the roundabout, before crossing the mainline railway and offering a view looking down on the recently restored Hockley Viaduct. A steepish drop follows before we travel over the viaduct, dropping to a junction with the Five Bridges Road, and continuing alongside the Itchen Navigation towards Winchester, passing St Catherine's Hill enroute.
We then pass the tennis courts by Domum Road, turn left into College Walk, and pass Winchester College along College Street, before entering St Swithun Street and The Close, ending by the Cathedral. It is then a very easy walk to stroll ones bike through the Cathedral ground to the shopping of the City Centre of Winchester.
I have dispensed with the soundtrack to my movie - replacing lovely birdsong of wrens with the Royalty-Free Music of Danosongs.com - because, having cycled 28 miles from Salisbury I found my head-cam would not work, and was forced to do the thing one-handed with camcorder in left hand. That's why there are lapses in camera-work while I try to change gears, and as I did not have a clean ride (note the white-van-man, the cyclist who cut me up, the car reversing in front of me, and the workmen who nearly pole-axed me) I realised when I got home the soundtrack was a string of swear-words! Doh! On the plus-side, there is some lovely scenery and some excellent dog-owners.
However, this is a wonderful cycle-path, and I thoroughly recommend it - you can even park your car at the park and ride and cycle into town to shop or work, how nice!!
Trains @ Salisbury, WEML + WML - 03/02/18
In this video, I visit Salisbury on the West of England Main Line and Wessex Mainline. Services are seen by South Western Railway and Great Western Railway.
My visit to this station was very brief due to changing trains here but was nice to be back here during an evening session. So many 158 and 159's to see here as well as more in the depot. Here, I see 158951 on a service to Portsmouth Harbour, 158885 terminating from Southampton Central and heading into the depot and 158961 heading to Cardiff Central. Recommended for a visit if you are a 159 lover.
Thanks For Watching.
Raigad Fort (रायगड किल्ला) - Historical Places of Maharashtra
Raigad is a hill fort situated in the Mahad, Raigad district of Maharashtra, India. The Maratha king Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj built this fort and made his capital in 1674 when he was crowned King of a Maratha Kingdom which later developed into the Maratha Empire eventually covering much of western and central India.
The fort, which rises 820 metres (2,700 ft) above sea level, is located in the Sahyadri mountain range. There are approximately 1737 steps leading to the fort, though today Raigad Ropeway, an aerial tramway, exists to reach the top of the fort in 10 minutes. The fort was looted and destroyed by the British after its capture in 1818.
