Changanasserry is a municipal town in Kottayam district in the state of Kerala, India. Changanassery is connected to high-range and Kuttanad. It is considered as one of the major educational and religious centres of Kerala with a 100% literate municipality. There are five colleges, eight higher secondary schools, one vocational higher secondary school and ten high schools within the four kilometre radius of the town, which makes Changanassery the educational centre of Kerala.

Thrikkodithanam is a village in Kottayam district in the state of Kerala, India. It is located on the outskirts of Changanassery Municipality. The area of the villages is 9.5 km2. The local administrative body is called the Panchayat and it is one of the seven in Madapally Block. Other Panchayats adjoining Thrikodithanam are Paippad and Kunnamthanam.

Saint Geevargese Mar Gregorios, popularly known as Parumala Thirumeni and also known as Chathuruthy Kochu Thirumeni, was a bishop of the Malankara Syrian Church. He became a deacon at the age of 10, a priest at the age of 18, and a bishop when aged 28. He died at the age of 54 and was buried at St. Peter and St. Paul's Church, Parumala, in Kerala, India. In 1947, he was declared a saint by the Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church, making him the first canonised Christian saint from India. In 1987, the Syriac Orthodox Church also recognised him as a saint.

Perunthenaruvi Waterfalls are waterfalls 36 km from Pathanamthitta in Pathanamthitta District, Central Travancore region, Kerala State, India. It is a popular tourist destination situated in Vechoochira Panchayat of Ranni taluk. The one shore of this waterfall is Kudamurutty and Vechoochira is the other. The main route to this waterfall starts from Ranni - Athikkayam - Kudamurutty - Perunthenaruvi. It is a fine place to spend time with family in a very serene atmosphere.

Vembanad is the longest lake in India, and the largest lake in the state of Kerala. Spanning several districts in the state of Kerala, it is known as Vembanadu Lake in Kottayam, Punnamada Lake in Kuttanad and Kochi Lake in Kochi. Several groups of small islands including Vypin, Mulavukad, Vallarpadam, Willingdon Island are located in the Kochi Lake portion. Kochi Port is built around the Willingdon Island and the Vallarpadam island. The Nehru Trophy Boat Race is conducted in a portion of the lake. High levels of pollution have been noticed at certain hotspots of the Vembanad backwaters. Government of India has identified the Vembanad wetland under National Wetlands Conservation Programme.

I was with Unni George (of OMKV Fishing & Cooking: and Shameer Thoppil (of T3 Vlogs: in Changanassery. We did a few videos too in the town and nearby places. But this was a long awaited foodploring experience; to visit Idli Pillechan's Idli Shop in Changanassery and enjoy the soft idlies with unorthodox combinations like Egg Roast (Mutta Roast) and with Chickpeas Massala (Kadala Curry).

The restaurant is just a few feet away from the Revenue Tower in Changanassery.
Do not expect a lavish space and a luxurious ambience in this restaurant. It's just a bit bigger than a simple kiosk. However, the plates of idlies served here are yumm and soft.

Aruvikuzhy Waterfalls near Pallikathodu, Kottayam Kerala

It's been awhile since I posted some travel vlogs, being with fishes and aquarium is not only thing that inspires hobbyist like me but travelling too. Watching nature's beauty can give more ideas about aquarium decorations and fish keeping. I happened to visit a nearby waterfall called Aruvikuzhy Waterfall near Pallichathodu Kottayam Kerala. This Travel Spot features a beautiful waterfall called Aruvikuzhy which shows off its beauty during rainy seasons. Aruvikuzhy waterfall has safe surrounding away from forest making it ideal place for family picnic and fun. If you visit kerala or are tourist to india then this spot is sure leisure for you.
