We departed from Athirapally towards Munnar. And the road journey is what to enjoy. We have to cover 140 km to reach our resort in Chinnakanal, which is 15 km from Munnar bus stand. The route is totally curvaceous and takes us through various waterfalls. And the very first waterfall with a good series of cascades we found is Cheeyappara waterfall. This waterfall on the side of the busy road is a treat to the eye.
Just a 1.5 km from Cheeyappara, we found another waterfall, called as Valara waterfall. And we got delighted by witnessing the water gushing down in large quantities.
By evening we reached Munnar and were mesmerized by the view of the tea gardens spread like a green carpet.
We arrived at our resort at dusk. We booked this resort online. It contains a small lobby, though the room is small it got a different vibe. Since the temperature is always cool here, so there’s no need for a fan or AC. And the availability of hot water is always there in the bathroom.
The private balcony is what we loved the most.
The next morning we wake up to witness the superb surroundings where we felt the mist and chill.
A real and romantic escape, away from the main town from trials and tribulations, strife and strain. Amidst of floral and faunal revelry and the thick and vibrant Greenwood. So at first, we went to the restaurant to have breakfast. After finishing our breakfast we then rambled around the property. The fascinating tree hut will surely draw an attention. You can also plan a candlelight dinner in this tree hut for some romantic experience.
The surrounding of the resort is superb. They made great attention to eco-friendly construction to a great extent.
There are few duplexes here for an exotic stay and many small huts or sheds are built where you can pose for a photo shoot.
If you are looking for more romance a stay in the tree house will serve the purpose.
Walking down to the verge, you’ll be mesmerized by the scenic view of the valley which is shrouded in mist.
This resort is perfect to spend your leisure time in peace and tranquillity. All you hear is the hymn of whistling bird, which is the best soothing experience you’ll have.
You can also enjoy the bonfire to celebrate the sojourn in serenity.
It’s not just the tranquil nature. The Ayurvedic massages are also offered here to rejuvenate your mind and body completely.
This resort itself is a view spot, where a plenty of floral plants amidst of forest and an awesome ambience to escape the routine life. Even though this place is a bit far from the main town, but it's worth to travel here.
