We rented the scooter from Roger's and the car from Yucatan Vacations (formerly Global Car Rental) in Progreso.

THE HIDDEN GEM OF MEXICO-MERIDA (2018)
The Hidden Gem Of Mexico-Merida (2018)
Merida, Mexico on the Yucatan peninsula is the hidden gem of Mexico I believe. I spent the day getting lost and checkout out the downtown area and it is so beautiful. The architecture is amazing, there are old buildings everywhere that could be a few hundred years old.
In this video i will take you to the Centro of Merida checking out some awesome statues and art work along the way, there are things like beautiful Churches and Cathedrals that will just take your breathe away. Of course there are also some fun facts through out the video explaing some things and showing you others.
I find markets and lots of people having an awesome day, street food vendors all over the place, In one of these amazing churches I sit down for a Mass that is being held. I tried to get a video of an old Mayan Chocolate factory while on the tour but you will see how that went.
This video is just filled with awesome things and sights, I even end up getting caught in a Thunder storm. If you are ever on the Yucatan peninsula I highly recommend making a stop in Merida, I can guarantee you will not be disappointed.
If you want to know more on how I am able to live this lifestyle dont be afraid to leave a comment of shoot me a message. im more then willing to help any body out with what i can :)

Mexico: Tour of Campeche - International Living
Tour of Campeche, Mexico - International Living
Campeche is one of the few colonial cities in Mexico that's located right on the sea. The city is located on the Yucatan Peninsula's Gulf Coast, so it gets sea breezes and warm waters. It's among the safest, friendliest—and sunniest—cities in Mexico.
Campeche is a World Heritage city, so its picture-perfect buildings will remain pristine. Just being discovered by expats, Campeche's a great place to look if you want to buy a colonial property to renovate.

Why Retire in Yucatan?
An American expat describes the exceptional brand of hospitality and gentleness of spirit that makes him proud to call Yucatan home. If your heart is open to it, there is something really special about the this part of the Maya world. Two hours inland from from the frenetic energy of Cancun, you can sample the sweet simplicity of life in the small Maya village of Ek Balam.
