A truly special place and experience. Far removed from anything most of us have come to know as normal. It's home to the indigenous Xhosa people of South Africa, a place of rolling hills, wild seas, self subsistence and raw beauty. As surreal as time travel, we took a step back and got to experience life in the Transkei. The video doesn't even do it justice, I guess you had to be there..

Welcome To The Wild Coast - Surfing In Coffee Bay, South Africa | Stoked For Travel
The Wild Coast of South Africa is where you really get off the beaten track and discover what makes this diverse country so incredible - and no more so than at Coffee Bay.
This beautiful little village is surrounding by rolling hills and stunning coastline - where the pace of life is mellow and relaxed.
And Coffee Bay surf is something you certainly need to get involved with - with empty lineups, super fun waves, warm water and an epic backdrop all coming together to produce one of my favourite surf destinations in South Africa!
Base yourself at The Coffee Shack - where you'll quickly become one of the family, falling asleep with the sound of the ocean and enjoy a few cold posts surf beers at the bar.
And whilst you're there make sure you take the time to do some of the epic coastal walks to the caves and also the famous Hole In The Wall.
It's a 9km one way hike, but well worth it for amazing views, so pack your camera and get ready to discover why the Wild Coast is one of the hidden gems of South Africa

Coffee Bay Wild Coast | South Africa
Coffee Bay and the Hole in the Wall are virtually synonymous - mention the one and you picture the other - and one cannot describe the full extent of the beauty of this area of the Wild Coast without including the incredible natural phenomenon.
The village of Coffee Bay, just 8 km down the road from the Hole, is real beachcomber country with rustic lodges and bars, gorgeous swimming beaches, excellent fishing and breathtaking hikes. Coffee Bay is the only coastal resort, other than Port St Johns, to sport a tarred road to its door from the N2. The surrounding countryside is rugged with high cliffs and peppered with distinctive round, thatched, traditional huts made largely from car tyres and coloured bottles.

2. Cape Town - One of the most beautiful cities in the world, hands on!
3. Koeksisters - Those who know them, love them! Sweet, twisty honey filled pastries.
4. The African beat - You know the vibe, the energy, the music and the dancing - simply indescribable!
5. Unique places to stay - I had the privilege of staying at the Clarendon Bed & Breakfast in Fresnaye. Simply nothing like the attention to detail in these places!
6. Woolworths - Nothing feels like home like shopping at Woolies!
7. Freezocinos - Something about the crushed ice in this iced coffee thats simply the best in the world.
8. Friends and Family - Years and years can pass, but nothing breaks the bond and connection that you have with those you have grown up with!
9. Biltong - Even this vegetarian knows what's at the heart of every South African's appetite

Cape Town, South Africa - The Tourist Guide to the City.

Cape Town, South Africa is arguably the most visually stunning place in the world. The cost of living in Cape Town is quite good to say the least! While I was visiting as a tourist, it didn’t stop me from going deeper to learn more about the culture and history. And there's a lot of deep, complex history in South Africa, especially in regards to race relations. Being Black myself, I had a lot of questions and I got a lot different answers. I could do a whole video on just the topic, but I will save that for another video. The one thing I did hear often was that there is progress being made.
Rene and I took the opportunity to explore this amazing city in the short time we had after hearing so much about it. This was my first time in Africa in a few years but it always feel good to come back.
There is so much to do Cape Town. If you're into good wine, views, food, yachting, different cultures, nightlife, you name it, this city is the perfect destination to experience it all.
