A Stay At Eastdon House With Cofton Holidays, South Devon

Cofton Holiday’s Eastdon House Apartments, Dawlish Warren, South Devon. It’s where we stayed during our trip to Devon in the south west of England.

We were lucky to stay in the Bluewaters luxury apartment on the first floor of Eastdon House which had great views over the River Exe towards Exmouth. A three bedroom apartment that can sleep up to 6.

When staying in Eastdon House you have access to all the attractions of Cofton Holiday Park which is about a mile away. You can drive there are take the pretty woodland walk through the trees although this route is quite steep in parts. Also don’t forget your torch if you are walking back through the woods after dark.

In Cofton Holiday Park there is an indoor and outdoor swimming pool, a gym, games rooms and plenty of stuff for kids to do and even a fishing lake. There is also a pub and a dining room and there is evening entertainment in the Warren Retreat.

From Eastdon House it is only a 15 minute walk to Dawlish Warren railway station and the coastal path to Dawlish town.

A me and b review of our weekend break at Cofton Holidays in Devon! We had the most amazing time! Our holiday home was pure luxury and we had so much fun swimming and relaxing by the five fishing lakes!

Places to Visit: Caravanning in the Cotswolds

This week we took our touring caravan to The Cotswolds and stayed in a Caravan and Camping Club site near Bourton-on-the-Water. It was our first trip to the area and we were blown away by the ‘chocolate box’ towns. We spent our time stopping around two areas, soaking up the atmosphere and views of the many quintessentially English villages. We started with a top breakfast at The Hollow Bottom in Guiting Power, followed up with a saunter over to Lower Slaughter and then Bourton-on-the-Water. We feel like we barely scratched the surface and will be sure to return.
