Hidden Paradise in the Philippines | Seco Island, Antique
Got the chance to see this gem last September. This has easily topped the most beautiful islands I have been to! Trust me, this is worth all the hassle and the 6 hour boat ride (back and fort)!
To get to Seco Island, you have to take a plane to Kalibo or Caticlan and take a bus/ van ride to Culasi Port. We were a group of 9 so it was more convenient and economical for us to rent a van.
From Kalibo Airport it took us about 2 hrs to get to Culasi, we stayed at Annie Sophie Hostel in Culasi then had them arrange our boat ride. We had to leave Culasi early in the morning (6AM) because of the long boat ride plus we can only stay until 2:30PM there. Shared cost for the boat ride inclusive of lunch amounted to Php 10,000 or roughly $210 usd. Shared cost for the van ride c/o Annie Sophie Hostel from Kalibo to Culasi amounted to Php 2,500 or $52 usd. We also paid for environmental fee in Seco Island which cost us around Php 100 each or $2.5 usd each.
After Seco Island, we also visited Malalison Island and Boracay Island. We did all these in 3 days! LOL. Watch out for my next vids to see the full itinerary of this trip. Thank you :)

Malumpati Antique

Enjoy:)
Dubbed the “cleanest inland body of water” in the country, Malumpati Cold Spring is located in Pandan, Antique and is often visited by tourists because of its cool and soothing waters. It’s one of the top attractions in the municipality and its peaceful environment make it the perfect side trip before or after you visit nearby places like the vibrant island of Boracay or the adventure-packed Ariel’s Point.
So, why is it called Malumpati? I’ve done a little bit of research and found out that it comes from the phrase “Malumpat ang Ati.” Malumpat is a native term for “will jump” while Ati is an indigenous group primarily located in the island of Panay. Back then, the Ati people used to jump into the spring to take a bath in its clear blue waters.
