Wild Atlantic Way Road Trip Vlog Series - Malin Head Ireland's most Northern Point
Wild Atlantic Way Road Trip Vlog to Malin Head Ireland's most Northern Point
In this vlog episode we continue our Ireland road trip south along the Wild Atlantic Way (WAW). We leave Stroove Beach and head north. We visit the beautiful Culdaff Beach on the way.
As the Wild Atlantic Way road trip / tour continues, we make it to Malin Head - County Donegal - which is the most northerly point in Ireland.
Absolutely stunning coastline and views and we were lucky that the rain cleared so we were able to go for a nice long walk.
If you're heading to Ireland and planning a road trip you must visit County Donegal - it is truly a beautiful county. We are loving our Wild Atlantic Way Ireland Road Trip / tour
The Wild Atlantic Way is one of the longest designated coastal road trips in the world at over 2,500 km long. Our road trip of the Wild Atlantic Way started at the most Northern Point of Ireland - Malin Head and finished all the way at the bottom in the town of Kinsale.
The Wild Atlantic way is a road trip of a lifetime and that’s why we just had to do it and produce a Ireland travel series of vlogs of our experiences along this magical road. We saw beautiful and dramatic cliffs, stunning beaches, the best sunsets, met lots of lovely people, sung at a shanty festival and saw Ireland at it’s best. If you come to Ireland you must visit the Wild Atlantic Way - even if you can’t do the complete road trip just go and do part of it - absolutely awesome and what a road trip to start off our never ending journey around the Globe.
We hope you enjoy this episode of our Wild Atlantic Way Road Trip Vlog Series.

World Adventurer Monty Halls promotes Donegal as a Family Friendly Adventure Destination.
In Chapter One Monty, Tam, Isla and Molly arrive in Donegal, landing at one of the world's most beautiful airports. Together they learn more about their Irish ancestry, immersing themselves in Donegal's culture and traditions.
TV personality and world adventurer Monty Halls, his wife Tamsyn and daughters Molly and Isla have been travelling all over the county filming with their company Seadog Productions this spring.
Donegal is no stranger to celebrity visitors. Since being named ‘Coolest Place on the Planet’ by National Geographic Traveller in 2017, Donegal has risen to new heights on the global tourism scale.
Monty had previously visited County Donegal and had the opportunity to view basking sharks at Malin Head. Having been to many exciting destinations worldwide, Monty said that his experience in viewing basking sharks at Malin Head was one of the most exciting wildlife encounters of his life.
Monty is well known for his BBC2 series ‘Great Escapes’ and he also presented the multi-award winning series ‘Great Barrier Reef’. In 2014 he worked on the ground-breaking expedition series ‘Lost Worlds’ for the Discovery Channel. Monty has written several books, and is a regular contributor to magazines and newspapers, many of them communicating his enthusiasm for the natural world. Monty has also worked with Channel 4, National Geographic, the History Channel, Channel 5, and the BBC. His most recent WWII's Great Escapes: The Freedom Trails was broadcast in 2017.
Monty Halls is a broadcaster, speaker, naturalist, former Royal Marine, marine biologist, travel writer and leadership specialist. His experience covers over two decades of leading teams in some of the most remote environments on earth, presenting wildlife and adventure documentaries. Most recently Monty and his family spent time on the Galapagos Islands filming ‘My Family and the Galapagos’.
So from the Galapagos Islands to Donegal on the Wild Atlantic Way, Monty and his family have experienced the very best of what our County has to offer. They showcase Donegal to a worldwide audience online as one of the world’s most amazing family friendly adventure destinations.
