Gansu - Yellow river and the charming Yongjing county
Yongjing county is situated in western Gansu along the Yellow River, north of the popular Bingling Lake.
The most famous attraction is the Bingling Temple, located in the southern part of Yongjing County and approx. a 3-hour boat ride away (upstream) from Liujiaxia Dam.

Three Gorges Dam Scenic Area
Located in the middle section of Xiling Gorge near Sandouping Town, Hubei Province, the Three Gorges Dam is the world's largest hydropower dam. The project is built to produce electricity, increase the Yangtze River's shipping capacity and reduce floods.
Tanziling Ridge is the best location to view the Three Gorges Dam. Tourists can not only view the five-step ship lock closely but also learn more information about the project in the model exhibition hall.
Standing at the 185 platform, tourists can have a panoramic view of the Three Gorges Dam. The height of the platform is about 185 meters. It is equivalent to the height of the dam project.

I bet not many of your friends have had the opportunity to travel here to Russia. It's a country that's been locked up for centuries but it's just starting to realise that people from right around the globe are just itching to come here and discover some of her incredible Secrets.
Our next port on our scenic adventure here in Russia is Goritsy.
It's really hard to picture life back when these villages of monasteries were in full swing but opening up your imagination is just part of Russia's charm and some of our stops are nearly impossible to believe, Kizhi island is a shrine to wood crafting over the centuries and if you think your wood whittling skills are impressive take a look at this.
It's incredible to think that the craftsman who built this place use nothing but timber. What's even more astounding is not one single nail was ever part of construction the skill of these ancient builders is mind-blowing and beautifully preserved on the island.
Legend has it that the single axe used to build the cathedral was tossed into the river never to be used again.
While Kizhi is all about timber and Drogi is all about village life there's two ways that you can get around Mandrogi. One is the traditional walking method and two is to hang out with Batili.
The island takes you back to the traditional trade roots of Russia and guess what there was vodka. Three thousand varieties of the stuff.
There's a whole range of local artwork being produced and a few visitors showing why they didn't live back in the Middle
Ages.
All this action can make a traveler very peckish so

Which somehow ends up as a Scenic bonding session and while all the action goes on inside the Scenic Tsar navigates its way through some of Russia's enormous inland lakes and on to our final stop of St. Petersburg.
Beijing (6) - Walking in the city
It is impossible not to be impressed by all the greenery one finds all over the city in Beijing.
Can we find another major city greener than Beijing? I doubt very much.
