Beautiful Places To See- Mirror Lake (Jiuzhaigou Valley, China)

When you enter the Jiuzhai Valley scenic spot, the first lake you will meet is the Reed Lake also mirror lake, The height of Reed Lake is 2140 meters. Its whole length is 2.2 kilometers. It is a half-swamp Lake. Since the lake is full of reeds, it is the ideal place for water birds to live. In the middle of the lake, there is a water band which divided the Reed Lake into two parts. As the color of the water band likes Chinese beautiful jade, the water band is called as Jade River. It was said that the water band was the belt of the mountain goddess, Yaoluo Semo. In spring, the blooming reed flowers attract many wild ducks and egrets. So the whole Reed Sea is full of vitality in spring. In summer, reeds all turn green, and the color of the lake also is green. You could hardly distinguish them in a distance. In autumn, the reeds turn gold. With the green lake, the whole scenery looks like an emerald in a golden plate. The strong contrasting colors will make a deep impression on you.

I've always been very interested in North Korea because it seemed to be one of the most unique and mysterious countries in the whole world. This is my day to day life throughout the 7 days that I spent in North Korea. You can never be sure whether things were staged or not in North Korea because you are only shown what they want you to see. You can't choose where or when you will be going to specific places, they simply tell you to hop on a bus and ask you to get off at one point or another.

That is why I didn't want to offer my opinion about whether things were staged or not, whether they were good or not, or honest or not. My goal was to show you what my day to day life looked like when I was there and let you make up your own mind and judge for yourself.

Do not judge North Korea only from what you see in this video. This is what they showed us and there's a reason they show some things and not show the others. Also, knowing how much control they exercise over the population, everything could have been staged only for us.
