Beatriz Manchón Portillo, piragüista olímpica, podóloga. Nació en Sevilla. Se inició a los catorce años en la práctica del piragüismo, en el Club Real Círculo de Labradores de Sevilla, siempre compaginando con sus estudios, ya que obtuvo la diplomatura como podóloga. Ha participado en cuatro Juegos Olímpicos.
Como atleta senior ha conseguido tres campeonatos del mundo, destacando el que obtuvo en Sevilla- 2002 cuando se proclamó Campeona del Mundo en K-2 200 metros. Seis campeonatos de Europa y veinte de España. Más de 50 medallas en Copas del Mundo y Regatas Internacionales, avalan el talento de la que está considerada la mejor piragüista española de todos los tiempos.
El río Guadalquivir es el río de Sevilla, el único río navegable de España. Un río que ha jugado un papel protagonista en muchos momentos de la historia de la ciudad. Asedios, defensas y conquistas se han litigado entre sus aguas, y también proezas y travesías se han fraguado desde sus orillas. Además de ser utilizado para practicar diversos deportes acuáticos.

El Tren de Potosí Isla Mágica
The overall theme is 16th-century Spanish colonial adventures, with seven areas centered around a lake. The best white-knuckle rides include the Anaconda and El Jaguar rollercoasters, the latter with high-speed 360-degree turns. Another popular ride is the Iguazú, set in an Amazon jungle waterfall, with speeds of 50km/h. The ride which you can see from outside (and hear its passengers' screams) is El Desafio, which has a 68-metre free fall, offering great views of the city - before you leave your stomach behind. Only for the truly fearless; it´s probably best not to eat beforehand.

Playa La Morena - Benalmádena, Málaga
La playa La Morera en Benalmádena, municipio de Málaga, Andalucía (España). Cuenta con una extensión de 700 metros de longitud y unos 15 metros de anchura media. Su fácil acceso la convierte en una de las playas con más afluencia en temporada alta. Además, la poca existencia de construcciones urbanísticas en la periferia hace que los turistas elijan en especial esta playa para disfrutar de su tranquilidad.
La estrechez de esta playa rodeada por rocas de gran tamaño le dan un carácter natural y le confiere una intimidad que hace que muchos opten por ella para escaparse de la multitud. Su oleaje es moderado y la arena de color oscuro.
Entre sus servicios podemos encontrar: Acceso para minusválidos, aparcamiento, cafetería y restaurante, alquiler de hamacas, tumbonas y sombrillas.

Matilda visits Malaga
Together with Matilda we traveled to Málaga in Spain to support her granddad David and Desley at the World Masters Athletics Championships 2018 #WMAMálaga2018
Desley competed in shotput, javelin and discus and David holds several Australian and Queensland records in Decathlon. The competition took place at the University of Malaga as well as the Torremolinos stadium.
Of course we used our time there to explore the local landmarks such as the Mercado, the Picasso Museum, the Alcazaba and the Gibralfaro castle and took time to relax on the beach.
