Portuguese Village Festivals in Amoreira, Reixida, and Golpilheira - Portugal 2018
The summer is the season of the festivals or, as it is known in Portuguese, festas, in honour of a patron saint.
Each town and village will have its own summer festival, usually a 4-day event. A festa is a top event in the social life of the town.
If you are visiting Portugal as a tourist or traveller, this is where you will find yourself among the Portuguese. Festivals held in small towns and villages are primarily for local residents. Go off the tourist path and visit these places to experience the local traditions and culture.

This was pretty much the best week ever, thanks everyone, going to miss you people!
In more detail, my first ride was from Šiauliai to Kaunas, then Kaunas to Warsaw. Later had a flight to Brussels, then Porto. Visited Porto, went to Estarreja, Santa Maria da Feira, Vagos and rode waves in the Atlantic ocean. Was a pretty breath-taking experience.

Aveiro vista aérea 4K
As industrias tradicionais de Aveiro estão ligadas à pesca e ao barro, havendo no concelho grandes fabricas de azulejo, louça, telhas e tijolos A sua tradicional feira de Março teve inicio no reinado de D.João I. A obstrução da barra em 1685 trouxe dificuldades à pesca e navegação marítima. Aveiro foi caindo em decadencia até que em 1808 após várias tentativas a Barra nova de Aveiro ficou aberta, utilizando bastante da pedra das antigas muralhas medievais.
Aveiro situa-se na foz do Rio Vouga, e é porto marítimo que comunica com a Ria e o mar através de um canal artificial, situado entre a Barra e S.Jacinto. As suas salinas ocupam uma estensão de 50 mil hectares, e foram classificadas como de interesse para o meio ambiente pela União Europeia. A origem de Aveiro estará ligada a um pequeno povoado de pescadores, anterior aos romanos, provavelmente um porto fenicio. O seu porto tem estaleiros e uma area ligada à seca do bacalhau. As festas de Aveiro dedicadas a Princesa Santa Joana (padroeira de Aveiro) celebram-se em maio. Em Janeiro celebra-se a Festa de S.Gonçalo, e em julho/agosto as festas da Ria (consoante as marés). Nas festas da Ria realiza-se uma regata de barcos moliceiros.
MOTV #8 :: 2nd Environmental Interpretation Center Anniversary - Bioria
It is in the Lower Vouga lagoon at the gates of the Ria de Aveiro, that nature is balanced with the man. With the promoter Estarreja City Council, the Bioria is assumed as a leading project for the conservation and protection of nature. Its network of paths known was recently elected by Fugas, supplement to the known newspaper Público, as one of the top 10 places in the world for birdwatching.
On 16th and 17th April, the Centre for Environmental Interpretation Bioria celebrated its second anniversary, which in addition to guided tours, organized a free demonstration of birds of prey.
