Everingham is a village in the East Riding of Yorkshire, England. It is 5 miles west of Market Weighton town centre and 4 miles south of Pocklington town centre. The village lies in a civil parish which is also officially called Everingham by the Office for National Statistics, although the county council and parish council refer to it as Everingham and Harswell, as the parish also includes the nearby village of Harswell. According to the 2011 UK census, it had a population of 304, a decrease on the 2001 UK census figure of 320, and covers an area of 1,662.03 hectares .

  • 2. Heights of Abraham Matlock Bath
    The Heights of Abraham Cable Car is a gondola lift in the English county of Derbyshire. About 1/3 of a mile long , it links the spa town of Matlock Bath with the Heights of Abraham, a tourist attraction 554 feet above. The line was built by Poma and opened in Spring of 1984. The cable cars were upgraded in 2004, making them larger and more accessible, to 12 x six-seater cabins, which operate in four trains of three cabins each.
