Switzerland - Lausanne to Evian - Swiss Trip

On the first day of our Swiss trip, we visit Lausanne and Evian. Evian falls in France and we have to take a boat from Lausanne to reach to the other side of Lake Geneva to this place world known for its pure spring water. The Evian water brand is known to everyone and we also get to taste the water directly from the source and fill in a couple of bottles too ;) Star Indian cricketer Virat Kohli credits this water as a reason for his good health and rightly so!

Lake Geneva Cruise to Evian - Switzerland to France
You can't visit Lake Geneva, (or lac Léman to the Swiss), without enjoying the antique, (and very comfortable) cruise boats and ferries.
We needed a boat from Montreux, (on the north, Swiss, shore), to Evian, (on the south, French, shore). We departed in the evening and enjoyed a long sun-set on the water.

Explore Evian France and Discover the Source of Evian Bottled Water
Join us on a tour of Evian France a beautiful town along the shores of Lac Leman directly across from Lausanne Switzerland. Not only is it the source of the renowned Evian water, it is considered one of the top European holiday resort and spa towns, claiming popularity with royalty and high society. In 2003 it hosted the G8 Summit Meeting with the top world leaders.
We hit up the grocery store while we were there and did a little price comparison to the grocery stores in Switzerland and yes it's much cheaper to shop in France!
