Lynn Canyon Park hike in North Vancouver BC Canada
Visiting the Ecology Centre at Lynn Canyon park, and then walking over the suspension bridge over the canyon and exploring some of the trails along the creek. We also visit Rice Lake, which is about a 1 hour hike from Lynn Canyon.
Hiking can be a dangerous activity. Be sure to follow safety signs posted at the park entrance and do not go in the water! (beware of currents and whirl pools, many people have died in this park).

We went hiking in Squamish, BC.

Slate Mountain - Purcell Wilderness Conservancy, B.C.
360 degree views in the Purcell Mountains. Mt. Hamill and the Hamill Glacier, Mt. Toby and the Toby Glacier on the faces of Griswold Peak, Mt. Katherine, and Mt. Christine, the Toby Creek valley, etc.
Island West Resort First Vlog
This is a first look at the Island West Resort in Ucluelet, BC... It's my little solo camping vacation.
Elephant Hill Provincial Park
A park with minimal development between Cache Creek , BC and Ashcroft , BC. Finding the way in was a challenge. The entrance is on the north end and follows the western flank of the mountain to the south end where a rough road leads up the mountain. Partway up I had regrets that I was driving a 2 wheel drive pickup truck. Further up there were some heart-fluttering twists and turns in the road where a mistake could have sent me over the edge. I got to the top and rested a while my pounding heart before exploring the summit on foot. The views were great.
