Fury 325 POV Carowinds
This is an On - Ride Front Seat POV of Fury 325 at Carowinds North - South Carolina in HD. Thanks for watching TheCoasterViews!
Fury 325 is a steel roller coaster at the Carowinds amusement park located in Charlotte, North Carolina and Fort Mill, South Carolina. Manufactured by Bolliger & Mabillard, it reaches a maximum height of 325 feet (99 m) making it the tallest and fastest Giga Coaster in the world and the 5th tallest overall. During the ride, riders reach speeds up to 95 miles per hour (153 km/h), go through high-speed curves, and pass over and under the park's main entrance.
In September 2013, the Charlotte City Council discussed plans for a proposed roller coaster in one of its meetings and it was revealed the ride would cost approximately $30 million. In a closed-session meeting, it was mentioned that the roller coaster would stand 70 feet (21 m) higher than the park's Intimidator roller coaster which stands at 232 feet (71 m), meaning the new coaster would be 302 feet (92 m) high. On October 18, January 23, 2014, and June 9, Cedar Fair Entertainment Company, the owners of Carowinds, filed trademark applications for the names Centurion, Fury, and Fury 325. In February, the Centurion trademark was suspended after another trademark application using the same name was found by the United States Patent and Trademark Office. In July, the blueprints for Fury 325 were leaked showing the exact layout of the roller coaster. At the beginning of August, the park sent a beekeeper to deliver a partially burnt bug net with a card saying, you're gonna need a much bigger net to capture the thrills of the 2015 Carowinds season, to several media outlets in the Charlotte area. On August 12, a microsite on Carowinds' website was found advertising a new ride called Centurion. A similar hoax was conducted by Kings Island leading up to the announcement of Banshee in 2013.

The little town of Spruce Pine, close to the Blue Ridge Parkway is known all over the United States for many of its exports, but one thing still remains is the abundance and hunt for precious gem stones. Fun Free Things To Do In Louisville Kentucky
I am in love with Louisville! A city you never knew was just waiting for you.
1.Get artsy at 21c Museum Hotel
This hotel located downtown on West Main Street doubles as a contemporary art museum. A double-size gold replica of Michelangelo's statue of David stands by the street near the entrance, and art exhibitions rotate throughout the space.
Unfortunately, it costs money to stay the night and to eat dinner at the hotel's restaurant, Proof on Main, but the museum is free and open to the public year-round
2. Be in two states at once on the Big Four Bridge
The Big Four Bridge is a former railroad bridge built across the Ohio River in 1895 connecting Louisville Waterfront Park to Jeffersonville, Indiana. It's a gathering spot on nice days and evenings.
At about a mile long, the bridge is open for pedestrians and bike riders to cross at their leisure. The bridge has cool lights and music, and vendors pop up at the edges to satisfy your thirst and cravings.
3.Visit the Speed Art Museum on Sundays
Admissions into the museum are free on Sundays until 2021. The museum's various collections include art of ancient cultures, African art, Native American art, European and American art, contemporary art and photography. (Some temporary exhibitions may not be included in Sundays' free admission.)
4. Explore Cave Hill Cemetery
Nearly 300 acres, Cave Hill Cemetery is a rural, garden-style cemetery founded in 1848. It is the resting place of many people important to Louisville's history, including Muhammad Ali, Colonel Sanders and Louisville founder George Rogers Clark. The national cemetery also is the burial site for over 5,500 soldiers killed in American wars dating back to the Civil War.
It's free to visit the cemetery and walk among the trees, flowers, statues and mausoleums.
5. The Brown Hotel To Eat a Hot Brown and Kentucky Pie.
We were celebrating my son's first birthday here and shared a hot brown, the Hot Brown is an open-faced sandwich of turkey and bacon, covered in Mornay sauce and baked or broiled until the bread is crisp and the sauce begins to brown.
Derby pie is a chocolate and walnut tart in a pie shell with a pastry dough crust. It is made with walnuts and chocolate chips. Imagine a pecan pie, only better!
A huge thank you to our friend Maggie and husband Michael for showing us around their beautiful city!

Short trip to U.S...America's largest home, NewYork, Reunion Tower Dallas and Disney
This video is all about my short visit to U.S.A. During this trip I visited beautiful & scenic Charlotte in North Carolina, which is also known as 2nd banking hub after New York City. In North Carolina there is Biltmore which is America's largest home & it has great historical importance. It's construction started in 1889 and finished in 1896. It has 250 rooms including 35 bedrooms and 43 bathrooms 65 fireplaces and 3 kitchens.
In Dallas had a night view of Dallas city from Reunion Tower & had Mexican Food like Fajitas, Enchiladas & sweet dish Soppapilla ( a kind of sweet pastry or a kind of a quick bread made from wheat flour & sugar).
In York city roamed around Madison, Time square. In New York don't forget to have New York pizza. Of course I visited US many times before this also & that time saw Statue of Liberty, so I skipped it this time .
In Orlando Disneyland there are four theme parks... Magic kingdom, Hollywood studio,Disney animal kingdom and Epcot. Magic kingdom is all about fairy tales, cinderella snowwhite and is really dreamy. If you're fond of travelling visit Epcot which has World showcase of 11 countries like Japan, China , Mexico, Canada etc. There they have put up a very realistic set up of those countries and you can enjoy local food and local shopping of that specific country. Epcot is One of my favourite theme park in Disney. In Hollywood Studios movies come alive and there are some family friendly shows as well as rides.

Found! Secret Gold Mine and Mining Camp Hidden in the Mountains
We recently stumbled upon this secret, hidden, abandoned mine and mining camp high up in the mountains. We explored one mine tunnel as well as the surface structures. A shed onsite contained an old vintage Silvertone radio/record player from 1940, a winch, a newspaper from 1957, and other artifacts. Inside the mine, we found more artifacts used by the miners, and we demonstrate in the video how those artifacts were used by the miners long ago.

Mining Gemstones with North America's most famous Gem miner...Frank Perham
Frank Perham, a miner and mineral collector for over 45 years is one of the most renowned experts on Maine Pegmatites. His experience with granite pegmatite has lead to the success of the famous 1972 Tuesday Pocket at the Dunton Quarry in Newry, ME which a majority of some of best Maine tourmaline has been extracted from this pocket including massive green tourmaline crystals on display at the Smithsonian and Harvard Natural History museums. The other successes include the Harvard Quarry, Mt. Mica, and the Tamminen Quarry. A true rockhound legend!
and I got to dig with him..woo-hoo!!
The Best Megalodon Tooth Hunting Site I Ever Found
I don't throw around the word best especially when it comes to hunting megalodon teeth because there have been so many good spots during my 30+ years of collecting, but I feel confident in using it here. I can't believe how lucky I got finding this spot. It was completely untouched and the bottom of the dig was just at the top of the fossil bearing formation. That meant all I had to do was look down in some spots to find teeth, and in the rest, I only had to dig off a foot or two of overburden. There were bones everywhere which is the tell-tale indicator of megalodon and other fossil shark teeth. It didn't take long to dig one out, then another, and another. Then when I walked on the piles after heavy rain there were more big teeth. All together I was able to collect this site for about a week and I found 17 complete megalodon teeth in that short amount of time. I'm not planning on retiring anytime soon, but it is going to be very difficult to top this spot. Summerville, I love you!

Hi Def Time Lapse --- The Complete Run
Deal's Gap, NC To Foothills Parkway, TN
50 Minutes of Drive Time Compressed To 9 Minutes - Since we were driving at 35 mph, this video is like you are driving the Dragon Tail at 195 MPH!
Dragon Tail - 11 miles of road with 318 curves. A great drive with the top down and especially for motorcycles. One end is at Deal's Gap Motorcycle Resort and the other end is at the entrance to the Foothills Parkway. Most of the road is in Tennessee. This was our second time on the tail....the first time was last fall with all the fall foliage. Both times with the top down on the convertible - which accounts for some of the windshield glare. Sorry about that - but was too beautiful a day to leave it up! Last time we drove the Dragon, we saw 3 wrecks - all motorcycles - so be careful. Don't end up with bits and pieces on the Tree of Shame!
The day we drove this for the photos and movie, we counted SEVEN cops - almost all speed traps. Enjoy - but drive safely. (See if you can spot all seven!)
BTW, Movie Trivia: Where we pull off the road, you can see the dam used in the movie, The Fugitive, with Harrison Ford and Tommy Lee Jones - where Dr. Richard Kimble jumped from the dam to escape Deputy Samuel Gerard. The freight train wreck that was staged for the movie is down the road from this shot, just outside of Dillsboro, North Carolina. The train wreckage is still there.
