Grindelwald, Switzerland - Most Beautiful Place in Europe
Jungfrau region in Switzerland is perhaps the most gorgeous place in Europe. In this travel guide I take you to Grindelwald, the Jungfrau mountain, Sphinx observatory, First mountain and Interlaken. I will show you the things to do, best places to visit and where to eat in Grindelwald.
Receiving a last minute call to attend a basketball game with Tony Parker on top of the Swiss Alps must have been the most ridiculous phone call I've ever received! Read my full experience on my blog:
On my journey to Switzerland I was lucky enough to fly with the brand-new Boeing 787 Dreamliner loaded with the latest features in commercial aviation.
Upon arrival in Grindelwald I was blown away by the fantastic scenery and the hospitality at Hotel Hirschen. In the coming weeks you will be able to enjoy new episodes from Switzerland on my blog.
The next day took place on the First mountain which must have been the most incredible view I have ever witnessed. On the way down we took the zipline, mountain cart and scooter bike which are one of the many activities offered on the First.
After another mesmerizing day we were taking to the Jungfrau mountain to watch the basketball game with Tony Parker at freezing temperatures at 12,000 ft. Perhaps one of the most unique experiences to date.
In conclusion, I want to thank the Swiss Tourism board, Tissot & Jungfrau Railways for making this adventure possible. The full length videos of the First Mountain and the Jungfrau Basketball Game are some of the best compilations I have recorded, so make sure to subscribe.

The 10 most beautiful places to visit in Switzerland.
A fusion of Italian, French and German cultures but still with a strong identity of its own, Switzerland makes an alluring travel destination. The landlocked European country is known for its attractive cities, its apre-ski chic and famously idyllic mountain scenery complete with cuckoo-clock houses and bell wearing cows – Switzerland is still a place where you can imagine Heidi skipping through the Alpine meadows.

10 Most Beautiful Castles in Switzerland
Switzerland is a small country that sits smack dab in the middle of the Alps, making for 360-degree scenery wherever a person finds themselves. Numerous lakes also add to the picture postcard look of this country, whose most famous citizen may have been the fictional Heidi. From banks to bucolic alpine meadows, Switzerland has it all. An overview of the best places to visit in Switzerland:
Grindelwald Switzerland - One Day Sightseeing Trip
The Eiger village of Grindelwald in the Bernese Oberland lies embedded in a welcoming and green hollow, surrounded by a commanding mountain scape with the Eiger north face and the Matterhorn. This mountain scape and the numerous lookout points and activities make Grindelwald one of the most popular and cosmopolitan holiday and excursion destinations in Switzerland, and the largest ski resort in the Jungfrau region.
Grindelwald, Switzerland: How To Experience The Best Of Winter
One look up after arriving in Grindelwald, Switzerland and I am star struck. And not by a person, but by a mountain made even more mythical with thick clouds rolling across the middle of it. The Eiger's North Face calls only the most daring climbers and is one not one to be taken lightly. Over the centuries, it has claimed the lives of many explorers trying to tackle it. Even with modern climbing equipment and guides today, it’s still a daunting task for experienced and well practiced climbers only. I am no such climber, but it doesn't make looking at the mountain any less thrilling.
Skiing at the base of Mt. Eiger is a true bucket list item for mountain junkies, and one I did feel comfortable tackling. It’s one thing to see Eiger from a distance but when you are skiing at the base, it’s otherworldly. Here, the mass of the mountain- which is one vertical mile of sheer rock and ice- is put in perspective and details like frozen waterfalls come into focus.
This of course is reason enough to plan a trip to Grindelwald, but far from the only. In fact the remote glacier village, named for the gargantuan piles of ice that sit on the Alps above, has plenty more mountain adventures up its sleeve, which we check out in this video. Come along as we ski at the base of Mt. Eiger, hike to Lake Bachlap, and walk along the along a suspended walkway on the first cliff hike.
