Our final video in Seoul, South Korea features the classics of KOREAN STREET FOOD, starting at the Gwangjang Market (Kwangjang Market). We sample some of our favourite Korean dishes including tteokbokki, kimchi mandu and japchae. We also stopped on the way out for dessert, eating a bean porridge which was delicious! We explore the famous Ikseon-dong Hanok village for souvenirs and stop at a busy coffee shop for sweets and caffeine. Later that day, we eat something that you CAN’T MISS while in Korea - KOREAN BBQ! This Korean barbecue cooks the pork belly and the kimchi together - and the mix is delicious. We washed the meal down with soju. It was an AWESOME day of eating Korean food. Hi guys, this is also my first time here in Seoul. if you guys want to discover which place for great street food market, please enjoy most delicious street food here in Myeong-dong.
Myeong-dong is one of the busiest places in Seoul and is among Korea’s premier shopping destinations. Over 1 million shoppers pass through this area each and every day. Located in the heart of Seoul, Myeong-dong market has been a witness to Korea’s tumultuous modern-day history as a center of city politics, economy, and culture. To international visitors, Myeong-dong is a stunning shopping district with countless shops and restaurants. Its wild popularity has led to similar shopping districts springing up all across the country.
During night-time, you will discover many push cart stalls line-up the street and selling variety of street foods like Korean Egg Toast, Spiral-cut Potato, Grilled Scallops, Roasted Lobster with Cheese, Fried Baby Crab, Roasted Sweet Potatoes, Grilled Abalone, Fruit Juices, Ice Creams and others.
Thus, you can easily look for yummy foods in these streets when you feel hungry after shopped for few hours. The price of the street foods ranging from 2,000 Won to 12,000 Won.
Other than this, you will see Korean restaurants, Western Foods, and Asian Foods as you wander this shopping heaven place. So, you don’t need to worry about food matters when you get around these streets because many choices of foods in there.
