Let's Visit Negaunee, MI
Located west of Marquette, MI, Negaunee, MI is in the heart of iron ore country with its roots in the iron ore industry. The downtown area, the trails (including in the area near the Jackson Mine), Teal Lake, and the friendly locals make Negaunee a wonderful place to visit. The city of Ishpeming is also only a few miles west of Negaunee.
NOTE: I have learned that the Vista Theater is still in use today! It appeared that it only was closed for the day (or for the holiday weekend). Special thanks to YouTube user, Alex Watanen, for the correction!

Lansing Museums - History, Cars, and Fun With Science!
Lansing has a variety of amazing things to do and a big part of that is their art and culture. In this episode I'll take you around 3 of it's best museums.
The Michigan History Center is like stepping into a time machine that takes you through different era's of the states past. From there we checked out some Lansing history by heading to the R.E. Olds Transportation Museum. And finally we ended our day with Impression 5 Science Center for some hands-on science.

~Hey all! I’m Monica Ortega and I created Monica Goes because I wanted to inspire people to break out of their comfort zones and go on adventures. I want to show that if an everyday, average person like me can do these things, anyone can. My goal is also to show people that you can use your 2nd (or 3rd, or 55th) chance to step back and create a life you truly love!

Ghost Town in Michigan's Upper Peninsula
Super IGA Store near Watson, Michigan. Located in Marquette, County near Delta County. A very remote area in my opinion this building is located on a County road. As it has been stated a number of times in the comments. THIS PROPERTY HAS AN OWNER. DO NOT attempt to enter the property or trespass in any way. The local residents do not consider it a ghost town either. When we drove through we were coming from the general direction of Escanaba and headed to Marquette. We ended up taking this scenic drive through the area. I wanted to post this to preserve a bit of history.

4 Trails 2 Minutes | Mountain Biking | Marquette, Michigan
Summer’s arrival in Marquette means nearly 16 sun-soaked hours of daylight on Lake Superior’s southern shoreline. For us, that means 960 minutes a day to explore the over 100 miles of carefully crafted mountain bike trails packed with bar-dragging berms, stomach dropping rock rolls, and more features found only in Marquette County’s glacier-cut landscape. Need proof? Here’s four unique trails in two minutes. Now what will you do with the other 958?
Riders: Evan Simula, Neil Washburn, Nic Dobbs, Jeremiah Johnston, Phil Ott and Anders Tvedten.
Produced by Aaron Peterson/aaronpeterson.net
Song: Violent Young, by The Analog Affair via The Music Bed
Marquette County, on Michigan's Upper Peninsula, is a designated Ride Center of the International Mountain Bike Association, one of only 27 in the world.
As of October 2014 the Noquemanon Trails Network of Marquette County has:
48 miles of cross-country mountain bike trails mapped and signed.
17 free ride mountain bike trails.
1 flow trail.
1 dual slalom course.
1 technical legacy trail.
80 wooden structures (system wide)
More berms and jumps than we can count.
NTN trails traverse 3 rivers, 5 creeks and take riders to 7 vistas.
In the nearby towns of Ishpeming and Negaunee the Range Area Mountain Bike Association is rapidly signing and mapping its sprawling 43-mile system of classic hand built mountain bike trails in the rugged hills where American iron mining was born: The Marquette Iron Range.
Five miles north of the city of Marquette an endless backwoods adventure of rowdy rock rolls and near alpine conditions challenge advanced riders along the spines of the ancient Huron Mountains at places like Harlow Lake, Sugarloaf Mountain, Bareback, McLovin and Top of the World. A community group works closely with the Michigan Department of Natural Resources to maintain the rugged, natural character of these trails.
During the winter, trails groups and volunteers groom and maintain an every-expanding system of snow singletrack for fat bikes, or snow bikes, as we like to call them. These winter bike trail networks are some of the first, and best, in the world--luring industry heavyweights like Trek, Specialized and 45North to test and develop products for this booming segment of the bike industry.

Black River Harbor Recreation Area, MI
One of the Top Ten Most Beautiful Locations in the US
Black River Harbor is one of the Top Ten most beautiful places in the United States. Plenty of nice sites. A beautiful harbor on Lake Superior surrounded with by a cornucopia of natural beauty. Five named waterfalls that are simply amazing, each awe inspiring along with several hidden un-named falls that anywhere else would be named and a major attraction. Together in such a short span of river makes the place the best place to see waterfalls in the US. Harbor features a beautiful suspension bridge, gorgeous picnic ground, amazing examples of Civilian Conservation Corps architecture and perhaps the most beautiful beach on the great lakes. Short drive from Copper Peak, where you can see three states and Canada. Needs to be on everyone's bucket list.
