Jim Corbett National Park is a forested wildlife sanctuary in northern India’s Uttarakhand State. Rich in flora and fauna, it’s known for its Bengal tigers. Animals, including tigers, leopards and wild elephants, roam the Dhikala zone. On the banks of the Ramganga Reservoir, the Sonanadi zone is home to elephants and leopards, along with hundreds of species of bird
Kosi:
The Kosi is a perennial river that servers major portion of the Corbett's wild as the Corbett wild use the Kosi river to quench their thirst. Eastern periphery of the park is fed by Kosi that flows from Mohan till Ramnagar via Dhikuli. Though, the Kosi does not enter the park boundary.
Dhikala is a well-known destination in the park and situated at the fringes of Patli Dun valley. There is a rest house, which was built hundred of years ago. Kanda ridge forms the backdrop, and from Dhikala, one can enjoy the spectacular natural beauty of the valley.
Jeep Safari is the most convenient way to travel within the national park; jeeps can be rented for park trips from Ramnagar.
Treks: tourists are not allowed to walk inside the park, but only to go trekking around the park in the company of a guide. The winter season is cold, so tourists should make proper arrangements for their clothing, if they are traveling in the winter season.
Walking Safaris are possible in the buffer zone areas - and very rewarding with Corbett having a very healthy and lush, rich buffer zone around; look for lodges around with trained staff for the same.
Kalagarh Dam is dam located in the south-west of the wildlife sanctuary. This is one of the best places for a bird watching tour. Lots of migratory waterfowl comes here in the winters.
Corbett Falls is a 20 m (66 ft) water fall situated 25 km (16 mi) from Ramnagar, and 4 km (2.5 mi) from Kaladhungi, on the Kaladhungi–Ramnagar highway. The water falls is surrounded by dense forests and pin drop silence
Garjiya Devi Temple is sacred to Garjiya Devi and is mostly visited by the traveller during the Kartik Poornima (November – December). It is a prominent temple located on the bank of river Kosi, amidst the hilly terrains of Uttarakhand, nearby Garjiya village, at a distance of 14 km. from Ramnagar, Uttarakhand, India]

Monsoon At Jim Corbett | National Park | Weekend Trip From Delhi
I recently went to Jim Corbett in Uttrakhand state , a place which is famous for its National Park. The idea was to take a break from Delhi's heat and spend a few days in Jim Corbett to enjoy the monsoon season there. Jim Corbett National Park lies in the Nainital district of Uttrakhand state and it is a part of the larget Corbett Tiger Reserve
The mystic landscape of Corbett is famous for its tiger richness. Founded in the year 1936 as Hailey National Park, this park has the glory of being the oldest and most prestigious national park of India.
Monsoon is not the right time to visit Jim Corbett as the park gates are closed for safety reasons during the rainy days. However, my idea was to visit Jim Corbett to enjoy its greenery during the Monsoon season. I stayed at a wonderful resort called ‘Pagoda Manu Maharani’, located by the side of river Kosi and just 10 minutes away from the National Park. I loved the property so much especially their extra activities to keep the visitors engaged and enjoy the monsoon weather. I also loved spending time at the bank of river Kosi that is just behind the resort. The rooms, staffs, food, service, cleanliness and everything were nice about Manu Maharani resort. Apart from enjoying live music, monsoon, greenery at the resort, walk at the riverside, I also went to Girija Temple, which is one of the most famous temples of Nainital district. Ramnagar is a beautiful small town and Nagar palika in the Nainital district of Uttarakhand, India. It is located approximately 65 kilometres from Nainital, the headquarters of the district.
This famous city of Kumaon is also known as Corbett City because Ramnagar, famous for the country's oldest National Park Jim Corbett, is famous throughout the country.
The proper time for tourists to visit in Jim Corbett National Park is from November to May. In this season, many travel agencies arrange to move the tourists to the Corbett National Park. A good hotel from here is here to stay for tourists with luxurious amenities.
In another famous places nearby, 15 kilometers from Ramnagar, there is a grand temple of Goddess Girjiya Mata at Garjia near Dhikala Road. Which is situated on a small hill on the banks of Kosi river.

रामनगर बस अड्डे से दिल्ली और दुसरे नगरों नैनीताल, मुरादाबाद और काशीपुर के लिए भी लगातार बस सेवाएं उपलब्ध रहती हैं, जिनका सञ्चालन राज्य परिवहन निगम और निजी बस ऑपरेटर दोनों द्वारा किया जाता है। बस अड्डे से कुछ दूरी पर रामनगर का अपना रेलवे स्टेशन है। यहाँ सन १९०७ में बिट्रिश शासन द्वारा रेलमार्ग बिछाया गया था।
