12 Best Tourist Attractions in Quezon Province Philippines
Quezon is a province of the Philippines in the Calabarzon region of Luzon island. The province was named after Manuel L. Quezon, the second President of the Philippines, and its capital is Lucena City.
As of now, tourism is still a minor but growing part of the province's economy. Several attractions draw tourists from here and abroad including festivals, beaches, old structures and other sights. The two most prominent and famous festivals are Pahiyas Festival of Lucban and the Niyugyugan Festival.

JOMALIG ISLAND | GOLDEN BEACH OF THE PHILIPPINES ( Quezon Province)
HOW TO GET TO JOMALIG:
There are two ways on how to get to Quezon in just a few hours, either by bus or van service.
By bus:
* From Legarda, Manila, take Raymond Transportation bus bound for Infanta via Ungos (air-conditioned). Bus terminal is located at Sta.Teresita cor Legarda, Sampaloc, Manila (near Arellano University). Travel time is 4-5 hours depending on the road traffic condition.
By van:
* Just a walking distance from the Raymond bus terminal, you’ll see the van terminal that offers trips to Real, Quezon. Fare from Legarda to Ungos Port, Quezon is Php250 and the travel time will also take about 4-5 hours.
At Ungos Port, you need to ride a boat going to Jomalig. The boat fare is Php400 and this includes a free meal which will be prepared by the boatmen. There’s also a terminal fee of Php10. Boats from Ungos port depart as early as 5:00AM. Sailing time will take about 4-6 hours.
Once you reach Jomalig port, ride a habal-habal going to the chosen resort.

WHERE TO EAT IN JOMALIG:
Most of the homestays, lodges, and resorts include food services. Caparas Beach Resort offers meals which cost Php120-150 per person per meal. Masarap naman yung food & nakakabusog talaga. Solid!

- They offer different types of accomodation... And we chose Native Igloo -- P500/night good for 2-3 pax na! May pillows and beddings at malinis.. And besh, hwag maarte, common CR and common kitchen pero maayos... Speaking of kusina, free gumamit ng baso, pingan, utencils including burners. Pwede din ang paluto! They offer 3 meals a day. P100/meal/pax basta inform nyo sila agad para makapamalengke sila. Pwede ka naman magbaon ng delata and bigas para makisaing kana lang kung tipidity mode on ka! Free mugs and hot water din if mahilig ka mag-kape katulad ko, shempre may sari-sari store din sila na willing to serve from 5am to 11pm.
- Sa kuryente naman, available from 6pm-6am.
Besh! Tanaw na tanaw ang sand bar mula sa resort! May limit ang oras ng swimming, until 6:30pm lang for some security reasons.
- At ang the best part! Nag-ooffer sila ng Beach Hopping via habal-habal for 1 whole day -- P600/pax.

We wanted a short, cheap and quick get away from Manila. So along with our friends/barkada we headed to Batangas! We originally wanted to go to Boracay, but we didn't have enough time, and funds since we used it from the Maldives, Hong Kong and Sri Lanka! Oh if you haven't seen those, watch them!

How to get there?
1. Ride a bus/Van from Legarda Bus terminal to Ungos Port
** Travel Time is 3-4 hours. Departure of bus is every hour
2. Ride a boat from Ungos Port to Jomalig Island.
** 6am-9:30am - waiting game begins, kasi 9:30 pa alis ng bangka.

** Travel time is 6 hours
