China wants to dominate the world by 2049 on the 100 year anniversary of their communist regime, and G**gle is helping them. China sees technology as its primary weapon, especially artificial intelligence (AI). Last year G**gle set up an AI center in Beijing, while at the same time, pulled out of doing AI work for America's defense department. And this year G**gle is working to build China a censured search engine.
One of the world's largest and most powerful multi-national corporations (started with U.S. taxpayer funding) won't work with OUR government to defend democracy, but is falling all over itself to work with the world's worse despots to crush democracy.
On September 5, 2018 the Senate Intelligence Committee is holding hearings about Russian meddling in our elections, and will have testimony from the chief operating officer of Facebook, Sheryl Sandberg, and Twitter’s chief executive, Jack Dorsey -- but Larry Page, chief executive of the G**gle's parent company Alphabet, might not attend. No one in our society should be over-mighty; not government, not unions, not big business, and certainly not big tech. We need much more competition in the big tech.
