Ezhattumugham is a country village in the Ernakulam district of Kerala India.It is situated 11.8 km from the nearest Nedumbassery Airport, Ernakulam, Kerala, India and 40 km from Cochin. You can get there hiring a taxi from the nearest town Angamaly as there is no public transport to the location. Though there are a few shortcuts via Angamaly, it is best to reach Chalakkudy and proceed from there.Ezhattumugham is a picture postcard coming to life – its flow punctuated by islets of greenery and boulders of all sizes and trees growing right in the middle of the gently moving water. A full-grown tree surrounded and nurtured by flowing water is a sight one cannot easily forget. And the mini waterfalls, which not only tickle your feet, but also remind you of the gentle force of water.
Vazhachal Falls is situated in Athirappilly Panchayath of Thrissur district in Kerala on the southwest coast of India. Located on the west-flowing Chalakudy River near the Vazhachal Forest Division and at the edge of the Sholayar ranges, it is just 5 km from entrance of Athirappilly Falls. It is located 36 km from Chalakudy.

Anayadikuthu Waterfalls, Near Thommankuthu Places to visit in Idukki #Tripjodi
Anayadikuth Waterfalls (ആനയാടികുത്ത് വെള്ളച്ചാട്ടം) or Aanachadikuth Waterfalls (ആനച്ചാടികുത്ത് വെള്ളച്ചാട്ടം), Thodupuzha (Idukki District), is one of the picturesque waterfalls in Idukki, Kerala which is situated about 20kms from Thodupuzha. It is one of the less explored waterfalls in Idukki even though it is nearer to Thommankuth Waterfalls Thodupuzha.
Anayadikuthu waterfalls is a beautiful waterfalls, which is a must visit place in the list “Places to visit in Idukki ” . Anayadikuthu lies near Thommankuthu waterfalls, Thodupuzha.
These two waterfalls can be made as an itinerary to a one-day trip in Idukki. Anayadikuthu waterfalls has another name ” Aanachadikkuthu “. The name explains that when a herd of elephants were passing this waterfall, an elephant slipped in to the falls and was drowned to death.
Things to do in Anayadikuthu waterfalls
During monsoon this waterfalls seems majestic, a micro version of Athirappilly Waterfalls.
Best part is this waterfalls is safe to take a dip for even kids [ not in monsoon ]

Anchuruli, also spelled Anjuruli, is an emerging tourist destination and a catchment area of Idukki arch dam in Kanchiyar village near Kattappana in the district of Idukki in Kerala state, India. It is highly noted for the 5 km long circular tunnel that carries water from Erattayar dam near Kattappana to Idukki reservoir.
The elevation of Anchuruli ranges from 740 m (2,430 ft) above mean sea level. It lies in the Kanchiyar grama panchayath in the newly formed Idukki constituency. The place can be accessed from Kanchiyar (3 km) which is on the Kattappana - Kuttikkanam state highway
Anchuruli being famous for its waterfalls, offers a splendid view of semi – evergreen forest grasslands and hilly areas of the Western Ghats. From this place, we can view a subterranean tunnel of 6 km passing through a huge mountain.

Iringole Kavu Bhagavathy Temple | Forest | Perumbavoor
Iringole Kavu is a famous Hindu temple dedicated to Goddess Durga, situated in Kunnathunad Taluk of Ernakulam district, 5 km from Perumbavoor. This is one of the 108 Durga Temples in Kerala believed to have been concecrated by Lord Parasurama, the sixth avatar of Lord Vishnu.
Iringole Bhagavathy temple, also known as Iringole Kavu, is dedicated to the Bhagavathy who, in the form of a baby girl, took the place of Lord Krishna, to protect him from the hands of evil Kamsa. It is believed that the power of the goddess still remains in the thick dense forests at Iringole.
Situated in the tropical rain forest in Pattal, near Perumbavoor, Cochin, the Iringole Kavu resides the diety in the form of ‘’Vana Durga’’ as the Power of Forest. An amazing dense forest surrounded by big trees grabbed the attention of all. It is believed that the ‘Power’ is flanked by the numerous gods and goddesses on all sides in the form of thick trees and plants. The geneology of the temple dated back to the ‘Dwapara Yuga’ of Lord Krishna in Hindu mythology. When Kamsa, the uncle of Lord Krishna tried to kill the little girl child in fury, she glided away and sustained in air as a powerful radiance. This was called ‘’Irrinole’’- hence came the name for the temple as ‘Irrigole kavu.’The diety was in the form of ‘Yaga-Nidra’- a form of Maya (or illusion) . Any person coming here got struck by the rich flaura and fauna including teak, tamarind, mango, pine, monkeys, squirrels, mynah and rare medicinal plants. The turtles in the nearby lake also draws our undivided attention.
