Kangasala is a city in Finland, 16 kilometers east of Tampere. It was founded in 1865. The city has a population of 31,604 and covers an area of 870.86 square kilometres of which 212.83 km2 is water. The population density is 48.03 inhabitants per square kilometre . It is known in Finland for the beauty of its natural environment, as described by Zacharias Topelius in his poem A Summer's Day in Kangasala . It is also known for its mansions, such as Liuksiala, where the Swedish queen Karin Månsdotter lived, and Wääksy. Kangasala has a long history of tourism. Ähtäri is a town and municipality of Finland. It is located in the Southern Ostrobothnia region. The town has a population of 5,788 and covers an area of 910.87 square kilometres of which 105 km2 is water. The population density is 7.19 inhabitants per square kilometre . The municipality is unilingual Finnish. Ähtäri is known for its zoo and hotel Mesikämmen designed by Timo and Tuomo Suomalainen which is partly built within bedrock. The biggest lake in the area is Ähtärinjärvi. There is also a relatively old and small board mill called Vääräkosken Pahvi in Ähtäri. The largest private sector employers are Inhan Tehtaat, Silver-Veneet, Tankki, and Muovilami.

Parola Tank Museum, officially Armoured Vehicle Museum is a military museum located 110 kilometres north of Helsinki in Parola, near Hämeenlinna, Finland, a few kilometres from the Finnish Army Armoured Brigade training unit. It displays various tanks, armoured vehicles and anti-tank guns used by the Finnish Defence Forces throughout their history, including their latest Leopard 2A4 tank. A rare exhibit is an armoured train used in World War II. The museum was opened on June 18, 1961, when there were 19 tanks and 12 anti-tank guns on display.
