Emilia Geijer, Press Officer Visit Stockholm, announces Stockholm as the host city for TBEX Europe 2016. TBEX Europe will take place 14-16th July 2016 in Stockholm with pre and post tours in Stockholm and all over Sweden.
TBEX is the world’s largest annual meeting for travel bloggers, writers, and social media editors in the travel industry. It was just announced that Stockholm will host the conference in July, 2016. 900 travel bloggers are expected at the Stockholm Waterfront Congress Centre next summer.
In recent years, travel bloggers have become an increasingly important segment in marketing Stockholm as a destination. We’ve wanted to host a conference like TBEX for a long time, because we can see the potential of conferences in Stockholm’s strongest industries. We also share the same values, such as innovation and openness, which makes us especially happy,” says Karin Mäntymäki, Director Stockholm Convention Bureau
The city itself, with its blend of beauty and creativity, modern conference facilities and excellent social media skills, is why Stockholm was chosen to host the meeting.

This is gonna be a kind of cross section through different areas on my way to Stockholm. I've discovered some corners in Karlstad and Linköping. You will drive along the Öresund bridge, which connects Copenhagen with Malmö over a distance of more than 7 km.
Skånegården is here a relatively unknown area - at least it was for me. It is a kind of province in the greater area of Malmö.
In general you get an insight of some Swedish nature spots.
The best thing in Karlstad was a quick shopping trip in the evening is a normal Swedish supermarket. For me this is always something very special because that is what a country's culture is about - so you ask yourself what do they eat and drink. I you do not, then you miss an imortant aspect of a country's basis. Each culture got its own habits and definitions and this kind of 'normal' shopping areas display some of those Swedish habits of course!
