Kavajë is a municipality centrally located in the Western Lowlands region of Albania. It borders Durrës to the north 17 km , Tiranë to the east 27 km and Rrogozhinë to the south 15 km . To the west lies the Adriatic Sea. Based on the 2011 Census, the municipality had a population of 40,094 inhabitants although the Civil Registry inferred the total number of inhabitants to be 79,556. The overall surface area is 198.81 square kilometres

Krujë is a town and a municipality in north central Albania. Located between Mount Krujë and the Ishëm River, the city is only 20 km north from the capital of Albania, Tirana. Krujë was inhabited by the ancient Illyrian tribe of the Albani. In 1190 Krujë became the capital of the first autonomous Albanian state in the middle ages, the Principality of Arbër. Later it was the capital of the Kingdom of Albania, while in the early 15th century Krujë was conquered by the Ottoman Empire, but then recaptured in 1443 by Skanderbeg, leader of the League of Lezhë, who successfully defended it against three Ottoman sieges until his death in 1468. Apollonia was an ancient Greek city located on the right bank of the Aous river . Its ruins are situated in the Fier region, near the village of Pojani , in modern-day Albania. Apollonia was founded in 588 BCE by Greek colonists from Corfu and Corinth, on a site where native Illyrian tribes lived, and was perhaps the most important of the several classical towns known as Apollonia. Apollonia flourished in the Roman period and was home to a renowned school of philosophy, but began to decline in the 3rd century AD when its harbor started silting up as a result of an earthquake. It was abandoned by the end of Late Antiquity. The name of the city is mentioned among the modern bishoprics of the Orthodox Autocephalous Church of Albania . Apollonia is also a titular see of the Latin Church.

The Lagoon of Patok is a lagoon of the Adriatic Sea on the Mediterranean Sea in the central coast of Albania. Created during the Holocene period, this area was characterized by a geo-morphologic dynamism. A fifth lagoon is in an active formation process, also influenced by a rapid development of the littoral cordon in the western part. We visited beautiful Albania beaches with our kids Michael and Matej. We really enjoyed beach places in Sarande, Ksamil, Dhermi, Golem and many more. We also visited historical places Apollonia and Butrint.

Dotarliśmy do jednego z najbardziej widowiskowych kempingów w Albanii. Kemping zlokalizowany jest w okolicy, która specjalnie nie zachęca do podróżowania. W około nie ma żadnych atrakcji, miejsc do zwiedzania czy pięknych widoków. Drogi są w słabej kondycji, mnóstwo kurzu, leżące na ulicach śmieci, remonty dróg. Ale...
Wjeżdżając na teren kempingu odkrywamy, że można zrobić piękne miejsce do wypoczynku po środku niczego. Pięknie przygotowane miejsca na namioty i kampery, w tym część miejsc w pierwszej linii od brzegu morza pod specjalnymi dachami. Uroku dodaje sztuczna wyspa, na której znajduje się restauracja i mała marina. Do wyspy można dojść suchą nogą po specjalnie wybudowanym mostku. Krajobraz jak na karaibach.
Morze jest tu bardzo płytkie, więc to idealne miejsce do zabawy dla dzieci. Jedyny minus to mocne zasolenie wody, przez co gdy mamy rany na ciele od razu mocno szczypie. I chociaż miejsce do tanich nie należy warto jadąc do Albanii zatrzymać się tu chociaż na chwilę.
