Eurotour Denmark (Fyn) Saturday May 30th 2009
Van 29 mei t/m 1 juni 2009 vond de Eurotour plaats op het prachtige Deense eiland Funen. Een tour met 28 Nederlanders, 14 Engelsen, 7 Denen, 7 Fransen, 4 Amerikanen, 2 Duitsers, 2 Zweden en 1 Canadees. In totaal 65 deelnemers.
Zaterdagochtend 30 mei: na het ontbijt reden we met z'n allen om 8.30 uur van het hotel Faaborg vandaan om te genieten van een zonnig rit door het glooiende landschap van het zuidelijk deel van de Funen. Langs afwisselende groene velden met vele karakteristieke boerderijen, vakwerkhuisjes en kastelen. De ochtendrit eindigde bij het Skoda museum in Krengerup, waar we van een indrukwekkende collectie konden genieten. Daarnaast kregen we bij Hørvævsmuseet een rondleiding over hoe vroeger textiel werd geweven met interessante demonstraties.
De lunch bestond uit heerlijk gevarieerde Deense sandwiches van topkwaliteit. Daarop volgde een nog zonniger en warme middagrit met eindpunt de bioboerderij Ditlevsdal waar ze bizons houden. Via een rijtuig met trekker en duidelijke uitleg van de gids konden we de bizons en hun pas geboren jongen dichtbij bewonderen. De dag eindigde met een uitstekend diner!

Ågårds Rejsehold - The Brazilian Team
We are 40 gymnasts from Denmark touring Bahia, Brasil in October 2011.
Denmark is a small country, in the northern part of Europe called Scandinavia.
The team consists of 19 boys and 21 girls in the age between 17-26 years old. Everybody is former students at Ågård Efterskole, which is a boarding school where you study and live through the weekdays.
In Denmark we have nearly 200 different boarding schools for teenagers. The idea of creating a boarding school is to give the students knowledge and experience of life, and to become an individual and explore as many things as possible through community spirit and gatherings. All the schools have different main subjects, which can be: soccer, gymnastics, swimming, drama, music, adventure etc.
At Aagaard boarding school gymnastics has a big influence on our everyday life. Besides all the main subjects as math, Danish, physics, English etc., each student has approximately four classes of gymnastics every week, which gather the students and creates a great community -- our most important value at the school.
In August 2010 the gymnasts were at a selection to participate on the team. Since then we have been practicing nearly one weekend a month to finish up the program for our performance, which lasts about an hour. Through our performance the audience will be shown a diversity of genres such as contemporary dance, tumbling and rhythmical gymnastics. At the team we attach great importance to our team spirit reflecting in our performances. Being social as well as attending social events is a part of the concept of our team.
We are all very excited to have been given the opportunity to visit Brasil and show you the Danish perspective of gymnastics. We hope that we can pass on the Danish culture and values. In return we hope to get to know the Brasilian culture and values as well as having a great time while staying in Brasil.

REJSEN TILBAGE TIL FILIPPINERNE
- Til Den Tredje Verden.
Som i har kunnet se i min tidligere Vlog video, er vi kommet godt tilbage til Filippinerne.
Undervejs i Dubai rendte vi ind i nogle problemer med afgang og sådan fordi et fly var nødt til at nødlande i lufthavnen før vi kunne komme afsted. Det var ikke den i hørte om i fjernsynet som kom fra Indien, men et tidligere fly med problemer.
Her i videoen, tager jeg jer på en tur helt fra da vi sagde farvel til familien og til vi stod i huset i Cebu.
