Kinston High School is a high school located in Kinston, North Carolina, United States. It is the largest school in the Lenoir County Public School System, serving approximately 1,200 students. Kinston High was built in the 1970s as an integrated high school to serve the city. The International Baccalaureate programme started at Kinston High during the 2003-2004 school year. In fall 2004, Kinston High School was the first school in Lenoir County to start up a program called Advancement Via Individual Determination .     Kinston is a city in Lenoir County, North Carolina, United States. The population was 21,677 at the 2010 Census. It has been the county seat of Lenoir County since its formation in 1791.
