Kokrobite is a town along the Atlantic coast, 30 km to the west of Accra the capital city of Ghana. It is known for traditional sea fishing, its white-sand beaches and its lively nightlife. Kokrobite is a popular destination for tourists, backpackers and international volunteers seeking beaches and a break from the busy capital city.Kokrobite has a population of between 4000 and 6000 according to the Ghana Statistics Department 2003 Survey. The main local dialect is Ga, but Twi and English are also widely spoken.

The Umbrella Rock, as the name means, is a rock found at the site of the Boti Falls in Yilo Krobo District, Ghana. Its size is large enough to cover 12 to 15 people at once. Even though the pivot on which the top rock lies on might seem small, its very strong and have not been able to pull and/or push down with manpower. Yearly, many Tourists make it to the Boti Falls to have a feel of nature, without leaving the umbrella rock from sight.

Fort William is a fort in Anomabu, Central Region, Ghana, originally known as Anomabo Fort and renamed Fort William in the nineteenth century by its then-commander, Brodie Cruickshank, who added one storey to the main building in the days of King William IV. It was built in 1753 by the British after they thwarted a French attempt to establish a fort at the same place. Two earlier forts had been established at the same site, one in 1640 by the Dutch, another in 1674 by the English. Fort Charles was abandoned in the late-seventeenth century.
