Fraser Hill Malaysia : The Most Tranquil Highland Places to Visit in Malaysia [Small Girl big World]
Fraser Hill (or Bukit Fraser in Malay) is a hill resort located on the Titiwangsa Ridge in the state of Pahang in Malaysia. I consider Fraser's Hill (Bukit Fraser) as one of the most tranquil highland destination available in Malaysia. It is one of the most peaceful place to visit in Malaysia and a hidden gem.

Fraser Hill (Bukit Fraser) includes seven peaks, with altitudes between 1,220 and 1,524 meters above sea level. The Meteorological Department station is measured at 1,280 m. Year round temperatures are between 17°C~25°C / 63°F~77°F.
The resort is situated 64.6 miles (104 km) from the capital city, Kuala Lumpur. At the foot of the steep ascent, at an altitude of only 800m, is The Gap, where a colonial resthouse remains open. The winding 8 km single-track road up from The Gap is open in alternate directions each hour; odds hours for going up and even hours for going down. The drive from The Gap to Fraser Hill Malaysia (Bukit Fraser) takes less than 20 minutes. Some visitors prefer to walk up, spotting birds and enjoying the noticeable fall in temperature. A new alternative road was opened in 2001, but from time to time this is closed due to landslides.

Eat: Kedai Makanan Teo Kee at Kuala Kubu Bharu
Kedai Makanan Teo Kee located at Kuala Kubu Bharu town is a must visit on anyone's list. The homecook food vibe is strong here and their popular Teochew dishes are deserving of it's accolades among foodies.
During our trip, we truly enjoyed their Fish braised with Beancurd, Steamed Pork with Salted Fish and their iconic Braised Pork Belly Mui Choy which usually tends to be sold out fast.
Parking just in front of Kedai Makanan Teo Kee are plenty but tables on the other hand are not (if I'm not mistaken they only have 8 tables), so do come early to avoid the lunch crowd.
They are only open for breakfast and lunch from 9AM to 3PM everyday except Tuesday.

Gunung Datuk is one of our most favorite hiking spots, located just one and a half hour from Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia.
Datuk is graded as a mountain (gunung in Malay), though its elevation is much less than other mountains around Malaysia, making it a suitable place for beginners to try out a mountain-graded climb.

Travel Malaysia: Parasailing in Langkawi (ep 13)
It was a great day when we got to Parasail with Naam Adventure ( in Langkawi. The wind was strong that it felt like a roller coaster but that's just how we like it. We also dropped by at the Langkawi Underwater World before taking our ferry back to mainland. It was a good place to learn about different species but we'll stick to diving where we get to see them in their natural habitat.
