La Iruela is a town located in the province of Jaén, Andalusia, Spain. It sits on a peak of the Sierra de Cazorla and is home to the ruins of an 11th-century Moorish, and later Templar, fortress which towers over the road from Cazorla to the Sierras de Cazorla, Segura y Las Villas Natural Park. According to the 2005 census , the city has a population of 1894 inhabitants.

Texas Hollywood/Fort Bravo is a Western-styled theme park in the province of Almería in Spain. Built in the early 1970s, it lies a few kilometres to the north of the N-340 road highway , near the town of Tabernas. Around 1977, Rafa Molina, a stuntman, bought the set for US$6,000 to improve his job opportunities if the set was to be used for filming. In the early 1980s, he started charging visitors money to tour the set. Mock shoot-outs and barroom brawls were later added, and one of the buildings was converted into a full saloon to sell beer. It is now known as Fort Bravo. The building architecture in Texas Hollywood is of two different styles built back to back split between two different areas. The Cathedral of Sigüenza, officially Catedral de Santa María de Sigüenza, is the seat of the bishop of Sigüenza, in the town of Sigüenza, in Castile-La Mancha, Spain. Sierras de Cazorla, Segura y Las Villas Natural Park is a natural park in the eastern and northeastern part of the province of Jaén, Spain, established in 1986. With an area of 2,099.2 square kilometres

Parque Natural de Cazorla is the largest protected area in Spain and the second largest in Europe. It was declared a biosphere reserve by UNESCO in 1983 and also a Special Protection Area for migratory birds in 1988.

Protection of roughly 700 square kilometres (270 sq mi) in the southern part of the park dates back to 1960, when the National Hunting Reserve of las Sierras de Cazorla y Segura (Coto Nacional de Caza de las Sierras de Cazorla y Segura) was established.

The park includes two high ranges, the Sierra de Cazorla and the Sierra de Segura. These mountain ranges are part of the Prebaetic System, the northernmost portion of the Baetic Cordillera. Generally running southeast-to-northeast, they meet up with the Sierra Morena that runs from this region west to Portugal.

Spain Trip 2017 #20 Ubeda

Of Ubeda’s many charming squares, Plaza Vasquez de Molina is the most impressive. At one end is the Sacra Capilla de el Salvador, a 16th c. funerary chapel with a beautifully decorated interior. The plaza’s hedgerows lead past two fine Renaissance palaces, Palacio del Dean Ortega (now a Parador hotel) and Palacio de Juan Vasquez de Molina, flanked by lion statues. On the other side of the plaza is the Collegiate Church of Santa Maria de los Reales Alcazares, dating to the 13th century. In the bustling center of town is Plaza de Andalucia with a more contemporary fountain. Flower-bedecked balconies line the narrow streets leading to the churches of San Pedro and Santo Domingo, as well as the Monastery of Santa Clara where we purchased some cookies from the nuns (note the photo later of the turnstile). The video ends with a series of photos taken by my wife, Pam.
